I'm a musician, recordist, teacher and photographer in NYC.
I play acoustic and electric bass, classical guitar, steel-string acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, charango, laúd, oud, drums, percussion and mallet instruments. I started out on the trumpet and can still manage to play a little saxophone, too.

I provide instruction in recording engineering, mixing and mastering techniques as well as introductory and advanced classes in ProTools. I also offer instruction in all areas of photography, whether it be push-processed 35mm, medium-format, digital scanning, lighting, workflow or Photoshop manipulation.

I'm a fan of BoomRecorder and AudioHijack. I also do lots of field recordings with a Sony MZ-RH1 Hi-MD recorder and a pair of Core Sound or Sound Professionals binaural mics.
