A great collection of rock, pop, funk, jazz, and world music. there are over 30 songs in the music section (see below) you are sure to enjoy. please listen and provide some feedback, i'm always interested to hear what people think.

its interesting to contemplate the end as something more like a beginning for something that perhaps is more evolved. so to that end i've created something that attempts to build on the evolution of prior ages and move that forward where we don't have the limitations in either form or factor. something both intelligent and primal. something that is optimistic (perhaps hopelessly so but still...) because of reason but yet new enough to celebrate with disregard for strict norms or expectations.

tying the archeology of the predecessor age with future tools and still respecting the prior work while avoid the avante garde for the sake of being labeled as such; looking to merge the various genres towards a popular venue without resorting to simple repeat formulas or overly technical compositions that typically are collecting dust or aired in esoteric manners, we present our theory on the future. a future of hope, simplicity, enjoyment without hedonism (or too much hedonism), and perhaps some introspection and pain (although not too much of that liquor either...) perhaps some angels, perhaps some devils, perhaps some atheism or some other non-spiritual observation. perhaps.

i started out as a child, grew up listening to lots of music and decided music was for me. started on guitar, found bass chops, tickled ivory, beat drums, and found that some of my stuff might be worth recording so here it is. digitally recorded on somewhat state-of-the-art equipment in my laundry room/sound studio... i used to perform live in the early 80's with an orignals bar band, convoluted through several rock bands that morphed into a professional cover band in 90's (we were the first rock band to play in the Boston Met Art Museum) doing covers from the 50's thru 00's. Now, i'm looking to publish some original compositions on an album or two. blues, rock, funk, jazz, and pop.

Glenn Stanton - compositions, arrangements, performances, mix, post-production.
