I'm 28. I'm working on my Ph.D. in Political Science in Knoxville, TN. When I'm not tucked away in the library working on my dissertation I'm either 1) on Widespread Panic tour or 2) sitting in front of Garage Band. These are the things that make me happy.
I call my music-making project "Edge of the Bed Records" because I make all of my music sitting at the edge of my bed. I just put out my first album called "Marginal Effects". You can find it at CDBABY.COM or on iTunes. Now I'm ready to start working on my second album. That said, I'm on here in order to improve my music.
My goal is to make downtempo and trip hop tunes that feature blips and beeps, zings and clicks, etc. I'm really interested in feedback, both positive and critical.
Finally, I'm going to list some of my favorite artists:
Widespread Panic, Aesop Rock, Dose One, Sole, Tea Leaf Green, Particle, Wolfmother, Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Lyrics Born, Neutral Milk Hotel, Fruit Bats, Thievery Corporation, Telefon Tel Aviv, Prefuse 73, Jel, Misfits, Blockhead, Josh Martinez, Hawkwind and, of course, the Grateful Dead.
