Alleluja - Cohen Cover by merlino 3 years ago
I really enjoyed listening to this; especially your daughters voice was impressive and you arranged the mixing very well. Amatuer as I am at it , I can appreciate that it's not a quick task to get all the volume levels and timings right so bravo. I'm not technically savvy, I just know what I like the sound of. So for me I found the snare drum distracting. I don't think the song would lose anything, for me, by losing the drums; at leat the really loud ones. But I play accoustic guitar so you can see where my tastes lie. Thanks for sharing smiley

Wow, you can definately hear the difference in someone with 40 years playing to bring out the brilliant subtle beauty of the guitar played well. Loved it!

I like this type of mellow guitar stuff. Very calming, relaxing track. I can hear a definate vocal opportunity in there too. Usually that's how my songs start; a cool simple guitar chord prgression and then the words just come to me as I keep playing it.

Wasted Years [remix] by gregbaird 3 years ago
I'm am but a recording fledgling. I no sooner figure something out than something else rears it's ugly head. I noticed that too. I have been experimenting with different vocal effects my new recording module can apply on the fly. Too many options to learn at once - thanks for feed back smiley

Thanks for compliment - do you mean faster tempo or more words in each bar?
Learn to listen (noise reduced) by gregbaird 3 years ago
Thanks for feedback my friend. I have got a Line 6 UX2 USB recording interface on order - main problem is bloody background noise. So once i get that I should get better results. As it is I'm not bothering to go too hard on the recording because each track just adds more hiss so it's just accoustic stuff until then.
Something About the Way by 4arms 3 years ago
It's original - at first the chord progression threw me but by the end it had me hooked. And liked the piano in middle too.
Figure It Out by 4arms 3 years ago
I like it - I like it a lot. Some songs just have a balance and a sychronicity that comes together well. This is one.

It's kinda catchy - I'm a bit worried you don't have something more depressing to write about about but hey, I'm sure your brother is touched smiley
