well, i'll try not to be repetative... form of song and your playing is top shelf. i'm a drummer 1st and someone already said they are believable - but that not accurate... they are not only believable, they are extremely good. well, like i said!!!!!!! YOU GOT SKILLS!!! I LOVE THIS! THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST ANYONE HAS EVER DONE ON THIS TRACK AND I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR QUITE SOME TIME!!!!!! there are a few spots when i was beggin' for more!!! some moments when you could have actually "wailed".... and there was one very small section where your note choises kinda went "of of reference for me" ... but this is just right!!! | hey Z, just heard this new version for the first time... and yes, very cool, and improved... ok, comments on comments above...1st. the piano walk up... i don't think you've quite found the right note combination and it could be that a sustained note is the answer.. however, i'm not sure of that. Seeing that i never sent you the chords, i'm impressed! i will do that i promise. 2nd: at the end, there is a "transition chord to which you play a blues type scale over a jazz chord...THAT ROCKS FOR ME BIG TIME!! My thought from a previous message to you was this... it's the mix that i'm not completely happy with.. is there a way you can send me the wave files or turn them into mp3's or something so i can play with the mix? that was what i meant before... maybe if you solo all the guitar takes from GB and just export those out... i can lay it in and play with that... Again, i love the tone, i love the style, and as stated by others, in this case, less is more. Great stuff. |
