| Longer would be good. Perhaps I'll back and revise this one. I really like the bass work myself (if I'm allowed to say that about my own music!), and have some ideas on how I could expand on this. The underlying bass riff was influenced heavily by Pink Floyd's songs, "Main Theme" and "Dramatic Theme" from their 1969 Album, "Music from the Film More" - Their first full length soundtrack. | Yeah, I usually take pride on my mixing ability, and you're really right about the bass on this song. I made this a while ago, and I think I was going for a muddy feel. Sounds OK on the M-Audio BX5a monitors, but they're pretty good at dealing with heavy bass lines. Thanks for the comments! |
