| First I really love the solo on this song note and tone wise. Again great productions and the like way you used the synths without adding cheese to the song. Teleute vocals again are very nice , wasn't crazy about the panning but hey thats just me. I really like the way you guys use distortion on the vocals which really sound out from the other sections. | Wow this is one awesome track. Really liked the intro as it lulled you into a sense of calmness before the thunderous opening and from there I was hooked. I wasn't expecting vocals and was pleasantly surprised when they kicked in. In regards to the mix the drums seem to get lost in a few sections of the song as does the bass. The guitar tone and overall sound is stunning very clear and clean. I can't wait to hear some more songs from your Album. Would love to hear details about the recording process especially how you got the ultra phat guitar tones and how you processed the vocal tracks. | |

| Thanks guys for the comments. @tony2008 the guitar sound is achieved with a PODXT, there are two guitar parts for this song so I recorded each part 4 times for a total of 8 guitar tracks applied EQ to each track to cut out the fizz and low bass frequencies and thats it. |

Cool track guys lots of energy and groove. Wow ramonaji your everywhere you must work on music 24/7 lol. In regards to the mix one thing you can try to to remove all the low frequency from the all tracks except the Drum loop. Even though you may not be able to hear it there are low frequency sounds in all the tracks and when combined can add a lot of mud. actually just read the following: mdestiny wrote: Mud in the mix is only due to lower frequencies from all the instruments fighting for bandwidth in the low end.. The fix is to use a high pass EQ or filter on individual instrument tracks and cut back on the low frequencies. Use to taste, if it still sounds muddy cut back more. This is an awesome track with the above suggestion you can take this song to another level. |

| Hey everyone taking the time to listen and comment. @ Eido actually I quad tracked the guitars because after two tracks it still did not sound as fat as I wanted so I did the old quad track. As for impulses thats what I used on this track I believe I used guitarhacks impulse which I got from the Ultimate Metal forum. I actually used a different impulse for each track , in an attempt to get around the static feel that using impulses can cause, since an impulse is just a snapshot in time. There's a program called Nebula that getting ported to the Mac soon and it allows you to make impulse from vintage EQ's, Compressors, distortion units, guitar amps etc. Over at UM forum they were comparing the impulse created in Nebula to the regular impulses floating around the net. Most people liked Nebula's impulses better. Although I was not really impressed as they didn't really sound any better to me. |
