Nice and spacious composition interspersed with infectious laughter - now that's what I like.
Interesting array of instrumentation and textures too.
Well done, Rebecca smiley

An extremely fluid piece that evokes memories, emotions and feelings close to my heart and in a style that resonates with my own..

Sailing Moon (DI) by becwil 1 year ago
Very beautiful piece, Rebecca.
I love it... from the gentle repeating harp note to the overlaying and complementary instruments through to the ending.
Very heartfelt composition and arrangements make this a thoroughly engaging piece.

The other pieces are something to look forward to.

Cheers,
Jim.

Ascent (edit) by 921 3 years ago
Nice minimalist intro here. Disciplined sparseness of production and sounds, and altogether the piece moves along smoothly and is interesting all the way to the end (and it's a pity that journeys have to end).
Loved it.

Interesting ambience. Contemplative and tender. Like condensation rolling down a mountainside.

Another excellent piece of work. Love the interspersing of voice bytes. Lovely images conjured up here. You thrive on simple uncluttered arrangements and that to me is a strength.
Hope to hear more of your stuff as I go on.

Simple in a minimalist kinda way but well balanced and interesting. Reminds me of Kraftwerk (in a really cool Germanic way). Great production. Hope to learn from you here mate.
Love it to bits.
5-star ratings on this driving, tight piece 921!

Constructive comments are definitely forthcoming from me Rebecca. This is a wonderful composition, a wonderful production and a very professional one at that. You deserve more praise (and exposure) than you get.
A five-star rating on all levels anyway.

Erik Satie was a wonderfully-mad composer who has inspired countless efforts. I take my hat off to you for attempting this piece as well-known as it is to many.

Lovely and extended stuff. Reminds me of Zappa's "Jazz from Hell" and "Civilisation Faze 3" (not in copying mind you - just in a similar sense of complexity and interesting-ness).
Thanx for making it and many others. It encourages me to experiment more.

I like it! I can't wait to listen to it on a good system ... these headphones are okay but I think my sub will increase the enjoyment.

Dang ... I just noticed, I can't download it!
Dream Cymbalism by feenixx 3 years ago
Hi feenix,
You combine things well. Thanks for the inspiration. Jazz is a strong component in a lot of your songs. And I can identify with the mystical/etheric and dream-time elements.
I shy away from rating songs as well.
Keep up the goode worke.

Nice & funkee & dirty. Your minimalist approach for the first half is interesting to say the least. Then it really moves along nicely, coming to a respectful stop. Thanks.

Love the Hendrix chords at the start. Yes the song has potential. Lyrics are not easy to incorporate (past experience calling here). Don't know if I can help. Lots of luck with them.

CYCLING THROUGH is a cool effort. If I could juggle a martini and cycle, I would. Thanks for making the track.

NIGHT FEVER is an interesting use of various genres. I am still thinking of ways to combine. And why not... rules are there to be broken and I'm sure you agree.
