| I love this one pete! This is an awesome take on it. we gotta jam out a dead tune together sometime soon. I think people who aren't all that familiar with the dead underestimate the amazing song writing capabilities of Jerry. For people who aren't real fans, the dead just bring up ideas of crazy, hippy, psychedelic, drug music, which it is, but it is also some of the most gorgeous, thoughtful, purposeful, intellegent music that could ever be thrown into a "pop" category of any kind. Then you play a song like Ramble on Rose, or Ripple, or Friend of the Devil, or Attics of My Life and people are genuinely surprised when they are enjoying the tune so much and they hear it's a Grateful Dead song. I love it when that happens. Ok, this is the end of my ramble. Keep on truckin' pete. As I'm typing this I notice your kind words that will be just above these haha. I appreciate your good words. |

I'm a huge Paul Simon fan (someone made that comparison previously in a comment) and this reminds me of his stuff a lot. and ladysmith! just awesome stuff man. I like this a lot. Very chilled. Lounge-ish. I like. I saw you commented on my Collab with PlusUltra, and I thought you meant that you had also collabed on the same track. I suppose i misunderstood.
