This is great! Good vocals, mix, and production. It's also nice to hear the musicality (piano, and echoey arpeggiated synth in the BG). I'm not much for RandB but I can really appreciate this. I can also say this is a good mix and recording from an engineering standpoint. My only suggestion would be to record the piano part on a baby grand with a good set of stereo mics. Good job! |

I like it A and it has the undeniable feel of a Dre beat. Even the high synth work. He may have even sampled thoe same horns for a song w/ Emminem. I'm not criticizing cause it's not uncommon to hear a sample from one song in two different artists beats. I'm glad you were able to make it work so well. |

Nice sampleing Alex, the strings are sweet in both senses,lol. I do agree w/ pack that the sample needs to be tied together. Two ideas I had were bells and more constant high hats. O and the drums are perfect for the mood and feel of this beat. |

Nice beat, I like the snare but this beat is just begging for more motion. Since there's so much going and actually towards the end it did, but maybe cut your loop sooner then bring it back in. The church bells on the top of every bar is sweet too. this is a great beat. |

I like the sampleing and panned strings (I'm not sure if you intentionally panned them cause I know elanor rigbey already has crazy balances on). with all three of the beats you posted I would like to hear 16th interval high hats and a strong bass line while I like the tympanis it just seems like the beat never drops. You've got a good ear and I dig your style. |

cool feel e. I love the electric guitar and the high pitch imperial trumpets. I would say that the integration of the drums could come from a touch of reverb on the kick and some sharpening on the claps (ie 32 band eq). |

This is a cool concept but you should bump up the vocals on the verses, they are quiet and soft. You may alos want to have the main voice w/out effects (ie. phaser, echoe) and reserve those effects for the backup vocals. |

Nice. I like the articulation in the guitar and of course the affect of the track. I also like the small atmospheric pad inserts (or possibly carry-overs from a sample?). You may want to try out a roll or two for the snares since this sounds like a miltary marching drum line. |

Cool stuff. I like the timbren and reverb on the bells in the beginning, it adds a lot to the overall atmosphere of the track. It's a good fusion of style w/ techno like drums and a funky analog synth. |
