Really really nice. Happy to hear a woman voice on this beautiful song.
Perhaps had a second voice (third scale) on the refrain ?
rush by farhanwidiaxana 9 days ago
Add more hihats/low-hats/cymbals to add speed, to make the music really "rushing". Reduce the drum-bass volume, I think, it's too loud. You can add a light sound, really repeteting like the hihats, just on the background to add speed. And perhaps a pad on some part, for the back ?
sow my seed ( vocal free) by dirtyswine 9 days ago

It's a good base. I think you have to add some small sound, or a second melody to "feed" the melody, to "fill" the background. So this track can work without lyrics.
Queen of Sabbath by Digipoll 10 days ago

It needs more "realistic"ť instruments, with a more clear "voice"ť, but it a really good composition, really emotionnal.

And why note a melancholic organ version ?

Using loops is sometimes a challenge, and you win this one ! You know I love oriental strings, but this one are incredible... I have to find how to do this with softwares instruments smiley
Cool track, great feeling, impressive soundscape !

There's a really good way to use loops on your tracks ! The only point I don't like much more is that it's quite repetitive... Perhaps adding some instruments or loops ?
Ima' Fighter ft. Bostic and Mary J by MiracleMusic 6 months ago

This one is excellent. Nice use of loops. I prefer more "realistic" strings with a better "voice", but that's difficult to do with loops smiley

This song is one of my favorite and I have most of the existing version (Leonard Cohen's original, guitar version, piano, U2 version and more), but your version is really incredible !

There's just a work to make on the voices of strings. However the piano and woodwinds are great !

Good track ! The melody, the bass and the harmonization ar really good !
However, there's a lot of things to work on :
- "compress" the instrument or the entire track to make it sounds more powerful, more on front
- work on the voice of the violins (they sound a bit synthetic...) : add release time, enhance the velocity

For a third trak, that's really good ! Continue !

He's a Pirate (Klaus Badelt Cover) by herrsolera 1 year ago
Really cool ! I love this music, and the two others soundtracks are better than better !
It's really close to the original, but I think that you can, for make it better :
- make it more powerful
- add bass (bass and deep horns are not enough there, i think)
- make the "crash" cymbal really "crashing" and the horns crescendo more "crescending", and the drums more louder smiley that's the secret of this track i think smiley

Good good good job !
If you have time, perhaps can you try the new theme of POTC 3 ?

The cellos (or bass ?) sounds at sometimes like a loop of GB files... I don't remember which one, but it's pretty familiar in my ear smiley

Concert Piece by violinist 1 year ago

One of my favorite of yours ! I really like this bass sound, and the strings section on the back really sounds good (great expression, great variations, etc.).
My comment, perhaps to make it better than better smiley : I was just hoping you make a more powerful and longer cymbal transition to introduce the final part, and more powerful horns and fiddle. The percussion are too far perhaps for me ('can try "bagad" style with a more present snare ?).
On the transitionnal part, you can add a glockenspiel or xylophone, or something percussive like that, just a few note to "feed" the transition.
Mh... i've just went on a concert yesterday night, with a philarmonic orchestra and an english male choir, so perhaps i have to much inspiration smiley

Well done, dirigent. Not a boring second, well mixed.
I just regret that instruments sounds pretty synthetic... And just perhaps on some moments the other elements (not the melody) are too sweet, too much in the background.

Concert Piece 3 by violinist 1 year ago

Sure it's a really good one. Mixing, performing, arranging... all is all right in this music.
Some horns arrangements make me think of "Gladiator" OST, and the flut and violin something like "The Lion King" (from the same composer...). But it's just "sounds like", it's an original music smiley
On the other hand with imagination, i can see something like the end of a Pirate movie, or something Epic to.
Good job.

Very cool. I love it. I just give 5 stars, but this what i will have done if i do it :

That's really interesting. But i've just a doubt : i think real theremins can't have a so powerful attack. Due to the fact you have to move your hands too rapidly, i think that's not possible.
The melody and the overall strange ambiance stay unique, good job aalmoore ! Hope to hear another "theremin" piece smiley

I agree with Ciheins. It's a good composition, but the strings have too much attack. I think you have to work on it with expression, to add variations and more realistic feel.
I give 5 stars to concept and creativity. It's a nice melody.
Juste something else : can you explain why you choose "complaint" as title ?

A really nice piece. A good one.
Just a thing i would have done another way : the strings (violins) on the peaceful moment can be more present. I think they are not enough powerful, and not "scratching" slowly on the string.
But all the rest is really good. Congratulations.
