| @jankorteweg they sounded different though for some reason, like maybe they were chopped up, but maybe its just the rearrangement of them. You did a good job of changing it up. | |

| Nice interesting changes with this and some new guitar riffs you added in as well as electronic elements and new drums it sounds like. Thanks for sharing your version of it. | |

I like the electronic elements and the electronic flutish sound you have in there, nice take and I like how you took the ending guitar riff and made it more prominent throughout and generally made the tune more uptempo. ![]() |

![]() It's really beautiful! Everything is super clear in the mix. At a couple points the piano kind of competes with the vocals a touch though (In particular when the notes are higher in it), but not really sure how you would fix that, because you definitely want the piano to be heard in there too. I really like it though! |

| Oh, great idea miles! Love the vocals in the background and stuff. And your voice really fits this piece you've done here. The deep sort of back and forth vocals are great. Its a great job using so many vocal sounds to fill out the instrumentation. | |

| The Uneasy Ballad by JackFancy | 10 months ago |
| That bass groove creates the uneasy feeling. Vocals sound good, mix is pretty good. The pause from the uneasy bass is necessary to break up the monotony. You have these sounds that come in and I like them also to create variation around the bass. This is one of those tunes you either are going to love it or hate it probably though because of the bass notes. | |
| Pianissimomo by thenownows | 10 months ago |
| It has this ongoing vibe to it. The little breaks from that main sound stop it become becoming monotonous. It would be good for some type of short skit or something. | |
| Calling You by Vixen | 10 months ago |
![]() Your voice is beautiful, and probably even more importantly, it seems like the lyrics and vocals fit the guitar beneath them nicely. It has that old sound to it with the reverb on your vocals and the way the guitar track was recorded. |

| Acoustic Green Jam by UvsU | 10 months ago |
| I like it, I too love the pauses and reflections it creates. I like how right when I was going to say I think the tune might be starting to drag you TOTALLY picked it up to a new tempo, which is just what it needed at that point. | |
| Lament Atlantis by URANIUM | 10 months ago |
| I like how it takes you on a journey. This middle part especially is cool. The beat at the start is kind of delayed, I'm assuming that effect is on purpose, sort of adds to the ambience. It's either that or it's just off in parts. I really like how these synth sequencer patterns are melding and interacting. It's like their getting their freak on or something. The arrangement sequence of the tune is superb, I love the ebbs and flows and different directions you take it, and it feels underwater too with the instruments you chose. It's more interesting than the average tune on the site. | |

| This is cool, especially initially. I think I would consider maybe going a different direction slightly with it; mostly getting rid of the sort of scratching sound and maybe adding some type of middle eastern sound or something over the top. I dunno, I just don't really dig the scratch sound that comes in after it gets going. But there are some things I think are cool; in particular the initial sound of it. I | |

| The Details Of Our Ending by Joshua_Irwin | 10 months ago |
| At first it had kind of an Enya-esque start to it. I think it has a very nice soundtrackish building sound to it. Sort of a sad feel as well to me. Very reflective tune. I like how the guitars come in and add a little something to it, along with the drums. Nice job. | |
| Tenuis Effcio (subtle changes) by A1K3M1 | 10 months ago |
| I like the flange on the drum sound, it complements the reverbie, digital sounding computer sounds that pan around (sort of creating a spacey sound). Kind of a dubstep atmosphere with the drums, I think. The guitar sound that comes in very concentrated sounding, but has a subtle panning around, like its in the center of a void surrounded by the digitized sounds. Overall, its a very ambient track, but an interesting spacey, kind of glitchy vibe. The pauses of silence do a good job of breaking up the sounds and adding some dynamics to the track as well. |

| To Be That Way by sammydix | 10 months ago |
![]() I like the mix. Everything is crisp and super clear. Imagine if it weren't? It would be muddy and we wouldn't be able to appreciate the sounds. I think the space of mostly just the guitar and vocals works good because it puts a great deal of emphasis on the vocals. It sounds great all-around. Interesting and provocative sounds. Yeah, I think there is plenty going on, no need to collaborate here. |
|
| Jordan instrumental by randolf | 10 months ago |
![]() I like the chords I think that is what makes it work here for so many people. The pauses after the keys add that emotional emphasis. Then to end with the harmonics adding to it adds even more depth. I think that is why it works. Great job, man. |

| Another Turn by MojoHandle | 10 months ago |
![]() Its cool, it has a great change of pace. The intro guitar riff is what I love the most, I think. But it has just in general a great sound. You could even get away with repeating that first riff even more, it has such a desperate sound I think (which I like). I need to add that I love the ending, tremendous finish. Great job all-around! ![]() |

| Love Chant No5 by Henno | 10 months ago |
| It has a simplicity to it, but it works because of the addictive synth and bass sounds. Nice change-up towards the end. Got a cool electro-funk vibe to it. | |
| My Father's Son by RevJoE | 10 months ago |
| I like the loop in particular that kind of has the higher pitch and moves in and out. Nice change-up after the one-third mark. It has a good dark vibe to it. Nice pad sounds and good variation. | |
| Freedom Song by TomDevine | 10 months ago |
| Yeah, I think it has a fun, yet relaxed chill vibe. Its good; nice change-up at the end. The repetition used in this tune works nicely also. | |
| SWEET MOMENTS by KCsGROOVE | 10 months ago |
| I think your voice issues kind of give the vocals a ghostly sound, maybe a bit of a raspy tone as well, which fit nicely here actually. Has a good jamming vibe to it. | |
| Dysnomia by A1K3M1 | 10 months ago |
![]() I like the color of those sort of electro-jazz keys featured in the piece. But then the pads help create the jazzy deep atmosphere. The electro style drums are a nice touch as well. Very creative, kind of out of the box stuff I think. I like that... too many people trying to do the same things over and over, unhappy to hear something different too often. |
|
| Valhalla by Bowman | 10 months ago |
![]() It has a very big sound thanks to the reverb on the horns in particular I think. I like how you go down to the low notes to add emotion to it. The repetitious string riff in the background helps keep a constant to it as it evolves over the top. |
|
| Horizontal Hair (AKA white knuckle merry-go-round) by JimmyDee | 10 months ago |
![]() I like the vibe of this; the guitar, sort of revolving feel it possesses. But it has a subtleness about it that I think is very cool and helps with the emotional feel of it. |

| Smooth by Harry1964 | 10 months ago |
| I like the guitar in this one, and the drum rolls add a nice variation to it. Even though it uses loops, it fails to sound loopy, which is a good thing. | |
| Somethings wrong with you by apb | 10 months ago |
| It sounds very clear, nice volumes to it, great length, intersting throughout. And, most importantly, because your vocals sort of take center stage, I think your voice sound pretty good here. Good job! | |
| Electric Weasel Dance Dome by pharmakeus | 10 months ago |
Yeah, I think this is the best tune I've actually heard on the site in awhile! I really love all the elements, they go so well together. That hard synth is fantastic, and then you go more brassy in parts, and the voice again is very cool. Kind of an 80s feel in parts, but its sooooo original sounding. I love it. ![]() |

| Apologize - Cover Live by raajk | 10 months ago |
| The Piano is beautiful, vocally you have a more tender approach. The piano does kind of overpower the vocals in the mix, and the vocals are not as strong and sharp as the original, but you did a decent job. | |
| Run by DiamondGrif | 10 months ago |

| What Is Love? by Axelbreeze | 11 months ago |
| Cool sounds, nice variation, Axel. Good use of space and dimension with the pads as well. | |
| One Day by PeriKardium | 11 months ago |
| The lead electronic synth that bounces around is not synchronized in a few parts. If you zoom in you'll see that in your program its not quite where you want it to be; probably 1/16th or so off in the pattern. The drums sounds are kind of buried in the mix. When you manage the EQ of them you can give them a harder hitting, louder sound. As far as the theme and idea, I think that the musical sound is solid (I like the concept and the melody and rhythm to it). It's an electro-pop sound which I like. You do a good job of keeping it interesting, but in the middle section I would add another layer on top of it, perhaps some kind of pad to add another layer of emotion because it starts to get repetitious in that segment. The piano/synth keys that come in at 2/3rds are pretty cool sounding. I have a feeling that you are going to get a lot better since this is just one of your first tunes. |

| Between Here And Forever by jamesjrn | 11 months ago |
| Yeah I will fix that. I actually think I have a few notes that are off in time (1/16th or so), which is unusual for me. I think that is what is creating that, plus I could add more dynamics by adding more of presence with volumes. | |

![]() Great style, I love the production and sounds. If I ever get around to making my music CD I would be up for a collab or something. I would love to try and sing over a track like this (though my style would be more of a alternative/pop rock singer style than metal vocals, but still would be cool). |

| Driven by jamesjrn | 1 year ago |
| Well I did EQ everything as well, perhaps you're right though maybe I could have made kick and snare a bit punchier, though I did somewhat compared to how they would have been. There's lots of synths here that have kind of a distorted style sound to them. Maybe I have too many frequencies crossing and could do better though. I did cut out lots of frequencies and what not actually though, so if its distorted as is, it would have been a lot worse than it is. | |
