| Dude this track is pretty interesting it kinda reminded me of meshuggah in the beginning. Very cool guitar tone. I liked the clean part to and started improving a solo on my own while i was listening to it. Maybe layering some additional guitar throughout might give it a more dynamic feel along with some vocals of course. I have the same mastering problems myself because I have yet to invest in nice monitors. Overall awesome job man. Keep up the great work. Let me know if you need a screamer I'll gladly do it if you need. -Jeff |

| Dude brutal track. i don't know if its just my speakers but that kick sound is what I've been looking for. I agree maybe the vocals (which are pretty damn good) could be brought to the front. Not a fan of black metal, but this was more 'death' than some black metal songs I've listened to, which I love. A well done piece of metal music brotha! | |

 Seems like rock to me so I don't know what its doing in the metal genre but here we go: Guitar is well played, although the rhythm guitar riffs are somewhat generic. Solo structure is pretty good. Drums are ok, some mistakes here and there, but not bad. You might wanna try to vary the vocals a bit to attain their own melodic element over the guitar. Overall decent job, you mentioned the sound quality, so I won't address that. Keep up the good work! |

| thanks guys, yea the vocals are tricky to get to sound right, I would use a dynamic mic like an SM57, then try a compressor and play around with it till it mixes well with your track. As far as the actual screaming, use your diaphragm, scream with your stomach and force as much air out as you can. Maybe add some distortion as well. hope that helps man | |

| thanks guys. yea the drums suck and the guitar does too, I need new pickups and decent studio monitors so i can get the sound where I want it. And Eido, I plan to do the vocals myself. I'm not sure how well I an mix them in tho, but I'll definitely take some mixing advice | |

| ok so its about the sound. So you are a death metal drummer eh? you have any recordings or videos I'm very curious. Those style of drums are very hard to pull off. If you or Eidolonia have any mixing tips for my EZdrummer plug in I would appreciate it. I have a ****ty headset that doesn't give me very good sound. BTW, if it was simply a mixing error why did you downgrade performance as opposed to production? I would probably just offer advice, but not rate anything, especially when the artists' intent could be vague. | |

| thanks for the comments guys! and as for the drums, I agree there could have been more cymbals and china used, unfortunately my pickups are active and have immense output that drowns out most of that frequency range. And ahumblepizza, I'm not sure if you are familiar with this genre but that style of drum playing is very natural and realistic. I suggest you research death metal drummers and there techniques (gravity blasts for example). | |

| I agree the distorted guitars could use some sound work. That is a never ending process tho getting guitars to sound right. Clean sound is pretty good, and I like the dirty vocals, the growls are well mixed. The high clean vocals in my opinion have no place in that song.
