A classic! And you do such a great job with it. You have such a rich, lovely voice. And I love the vocal riffs in the middle. Great stuff!

Nice! Almost sounds like you have a little Souxsie Souix going on the vocals. You do a great job of letting the angst come through on the vocals. Cool tune.

I agree. The vocals were great. It takes a while before you really get used to hearing your voice recorded. Keep it up and folks will definitely keep listening.

Very cool tune as well. I love the change up in the middle of the tune. You do some really nice, rich harmonies there.

What a great, laid back funky groove. Love the trumpet/guitar trade offs in the middle. Very solid and very tight.

Overall, it's a pretty cool tune. I like the lyrics and the vocals. I think the bass and the vocals could be brought up a tad and it almost sounds like it should be a little faster. But I like the style and the sound. Nicely done.

Great vocals and production on this one. Song has a good hook. The "Key to my heart" refrain really sticks in your head after the song is done. It takes a lot of work to get that kind of sound on a 4-track. Can't wait to hear more.

Odd, quirky, offbeat and excellent. Enjoyed it.

Ah! The days of the 4-track.... I don't miss them.

Very cool song. Nice fresh sound, and even through the infamous hiss, you can hear some great production value. Great vocals, especially when you bring in the harmonies. Can't wait to hear this one redone on Logic.

Intense from the very beginning. Sounds like music from a key moment in a soundtrack. Like the way the theme moves from voice to voice, picking up small variations along the way. Has a very rich sound over all. The only thing I though it might be missing is some dynamic percussion, maily in the last half. Tympani and large cymbal swells mainly to add a little emphasis as the brass swells. It's a very neat and exciting theme. I enjoyed it.

This comes across nicely as a coherent and unified piece. There are some very nice themes in there and the whole thing is wonderfully orchestrated. It ebbs and flows throughout, but does have a really nice over-arching build. And though I haven't heard the pieces this was derived from, it worked very nicely for me.

Ahh! Now you're talking. I can definitely hear a little Police and Double D in there, also, if you don't mind the comparison, The Samples. Nice and smooth and breezy. The lyrics do have a very positive message and it goes well with the kind of uplifting feel of the tune overall. The mix sounds like it's in a good place to me. The only thing I think would be a nice touch would be a little bit of harmony toward the end, maybe on the "Send me down a breathe to take" lines. It works well as it is, but that might be a nice touch. I really enjoyed the tune.

Very funky bass line. Gets a good groove going on. Are you planning it add to it? I can hear this easily driving some awesome guitar and vocals. Very cool.

This has a nice smooth pop feel to it. Reminds me of a lot of stuff from the 80s (what doesn't) like Style Council, some of the nice, melodic stuff. Good stuff.

Great tune. Love the contrasting styles. Lots of interesting things going on vocally and instrumentally. The ceneter section has a great groove going on and it melts beautifully into the nice full vocals in the ending. Love the harmonies near the end. Enjoyed it very much.
