Great song reminds me of Mungo Jerry, I love the vocals harmony and the great acoustic guitar sound the slide part sound a bit like young Ry Cooder. You sing with a nice voice with lots of feeling and a slight touch of Jorma Kaukonen !

Great stuff !

Great harp work Jojo ! It's nice to hear the song going to another direction somehow I love that. Did you play with a chorus effect or is it the sound of a chromatic harp ? I like the way you use some kind of Diminished scale that's great. Let's see where the whole thing might end ;o)

Nice guitar playing, you play with lots of feeling ! Your voice reminds me of Lyle Lovett I like it.

The song is great unfortunately the horns loops sound a bit "keyboard made" but the shuffle beat is quite good and groovy ! Maybe you should remove the horn parts and replace it by harp or organ ? Just my two cents.

Very nice song !

Great and sweet guitar sound, is there a doubling guitar there ? I hear a subtle chorus ! Great articulation which reminds me of some Tom Principato guitar work.

Nice production and nice slow blues !

Very nice jam, that remains me some sounds from the Arc Angels guitarists Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton. It's like a haunted blues ! I would love to hear maybe a small bridge section to bring some variety in the song !

Great feeling anyway !

GReat piece of work it sounds very good and quite like a vintage blues in some ways, i like the percussion stuff in the background ! Maybe some mixing would make it sound even better 'cause they're quite a lot of instruments at the same timeIt reminds me a bit the Crossroads soundtrack from Ry CooderCongratulations !

I agree with jdwyer05 it's a nice piece and it's not so easy to create a coherent song only with loops. The mood is effectively reminiscent of African Malian songs I like the Udu drum sounds !

Some of the keyboards chords sounds a bit too "major" for me I prefer the darker sound of minor chords ;o)

Very well done !

I found the bass is not right in the groove with your drum intro it sounds weird for my ears. When the groove is set then it sound's terrific way too short unfortunately.

Great acoustic blues the walkin bass is effective ! I like the lead sound it remind me Bryan Lee (New orleans blind hero) . Of course since it's not yet finish it would need some bridhes or changes but Man you really play the Blues with great feeling !

Keep rockin'

Very cool number, voice sample is great and well integrated, killing organ and very well played slide licks !

The overall production is ammazing:Lots of dynamics and nice stereo distribution !

The kickin slide solo would need maybe more EQ I found it a bit too bright !

Hats off Man great number !
Driftin'Blues (Charles Brown) by jipes 2 years ago
Thanks Hoodoo Blues, I still have to work on the production side because I rather finish quickly the recordings and they lack some treatment to make it sound better.

I keep your comment in mind for the future ;o)
Driftin'Blues (Charles Brown) by jipes 2 years ago
Thank you all for your nice comments ! I play the solo not really extended 'cause at the time I was just starting playing acoustic, I am mainly an electric player but Ilove more and more the acoustic side !

Nice groove with the conga mixed with the drums it's a change from the original. I like the piano sound but I guess the lead instrument is a bit too much in the front I would mix it more into the rest.

What kind of string intrument did you use ? Are the drums loops in the mix ?

Nice classic now you just have to sing on it eventually !

I like the folky feeling that you made out of the song, a mandolin will surely sound great on that one ! I would maybe mix your lead voice a bit more in the front sometimes !

I like the combination of voices they sound great together ! cool!

Excellent song vey strange feeling sounds a bit like anightmare in the Bayou ! I don't really like the mix of the acoustic flamenca guitar I don't think it fits in there (IMHO). The rest is really great and the spacy guitar licks is tasteful

Great production !

Very nice groove and the guitar lick is great ! Make me think a bit of a Fat Possum recording mixed up with some Billy Gibbons. Great tune ! Just one little thing some if the bends are quite out of tune but this is maybe an artistic choice !

Great stuff even if I don't like the drum part which doesn't fit with the rest to my feeling. The mix is quite well done and as usual your tabla is great

I also like the string instrument at the beginning (is it a oud or a Saz ?)

I like the bass groove (I also used it it's a nice one)

Overall a nice tune
Parallel Portal by Tablamaster 2 years ago

I don't really like the concept but your playing like on all your other songs is great you're really playing tabla very nicely.

I don't like the drum part which sounds a bit like a celtic tune to me those don't really fit together and then you jump with some techno bass stuff.

Maybe I'm too traditionnalist I prefer your other songs !

Very nice tune Leinad, a lot of creativity in the way you mixed all theses elements together. The voices are just beautiful and bring a lot of breathing in the overall composition.

Brillant idea I like the groove used on this tune it sounds great, however as said already we don't really get the Haiku that's a pity !

Anyway great stuff and well produced except the mix of the Haiku

Very nice loop and I really dig the sound of the upright bass actually you should also offer it separately cause it could be use in other context.

The rythmn pattern is nice and groovy
