Thanks for your comments smiley

I don't mind the comparison, and I'm glad you made it, pharmakeus. And I know, feenixx, that you don't like very much fade-out endings. And you're right, in other pieces perhaps it would have been better to choose an ending with no fade. But I like the fade in this one, as if lonely people were moving away on their lonely roads. smiley

Yes, I forgot to say that's the author of this song is Bob Dylan, in an album named "The Times They Are A-Changin'" released in 1964

Fantastic ambience, great sound, a land of time where subtleties swim with presence. Very nice work ! I enjoyed each second in this strange and fascinating story.

Bingo ! It's a theremin preset for Logic ES1 synth, with some effects...

I never had heard Flaming Lips smiley

I just went on their web site and listen excerpts of the album which offers an audio player (Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots) and it doesn't seem to be similar.

Thanks for your opinions smiley

Bob Dylan is "the" artist during my whole life and, when I was so much youger, I began to play guitar whith the songs from the album "The Times They Are A-Changing", and especially with the Ballad of Hollis Brown that I sang and sang again.

Your version is great, great, great... You made it with total respect of the original song's spirit. Many thanks for this beautiful gem.

Knocking on Heaven's Door by matty 7 years ago
I like your cover but you used to much midifile import. The Guns' drum sounds, but the midi part for the guitar chorus (and its synthy sound) isn't really what I wanted to hear... Because the only thing I like in Guns' version is the Slash's guitar. The original (Dylan) is more beautiful and Clapton's cover is more musical than Guns' cover. That's why I humbly wanted to make another cover for this song...
