| A Funk vamp...or Famp, or Vunk. Whatever. I was waiting for a bridge, but you guys proved you don't need one. Outstanding stuff! | |

| Thanks for all the positive comments. One of the great pleasures of being part of the icomp community is the chance to interact and collaborate with musicians of all persuasions. Like so many here, I'm inspired by the level of talent and creativity of fellow contributors like Andy, and I'm honored and humbled to be a part of it. |

| Thanks for all the positive feedback. Not only was this my first attempt at using loops, but it was my first attempt at writing lyrics. Sometimes it just flows, like electricity. Pluto's "demotion" by the world's top astronomers reminded me of when the then-weatherman Letterman congratulated a tropical storm for being upgraded to a hurricane. The material was just too juicy and funny. Don't f*ck with Pluto! | |

| Caribbean Moonlight - AAC version by jjbonney | 5 years ago |
| jayman...spot on! It was unintentional, but the first time I auditioned this GB version through my headphones, it sounded exactly like a theme to a Latin gameshow. The trumpets were originally muted and were doubled with vibes (using my synth's internal sounds)...which made it sound Miles Davis cool. This version is clearly spicier. Thanks! | |

| Mike...Oddly enough, I've never been to the Caribbean. I just tried to capture the simple joy of being a percussionist, and pay homage to the Afro-Cuban rhythms that ignite my imagination. | |

| Claus...I'm happy you liked it. It was the first piece I ever wrote using MIDI software, only. | |

| Thanks, jayman. It was a fun to piece it together on GB.... | |
| harlequin dance - AAC version by jjbonney | 5 years ago |
| Thanks, Ziurerdna. harlequin dance, attrition and repose were written as movements for string quartet...a little project I had while in music school a while ago. I tried to add in elements of attrition's tritones and repose's tonality for harlequin dance, the thematic bridge between the two. I'm glad you liked it. |

![]() Another impressive effort with nice instrumentation! I would have liked the piece even better had you expanded your main theme a little more, and modulated to different keys. |

| Thanks for the comments, kristyjo. These were two pieces I originally wrote using Finale many years ago and just recently uploaded into GB. The dynamics markings don't translate well to MIDI, so it was a struggle trying to recreate a crescendo, diminuendo, etc. with the Master Track tools. Your observations are right on. Both pieces could use a little more tweaking, which I will do later. | |
