Hello I'm a composer & musician with over 30 years experience as a professional musician, and not so professional. I make music with flutes, saxophones, clarinets, piano, keyboards, computer. Transit Of Venus for flute(s) is a set of three pieces written recently.
My Curriculum Vitae shows life's opportunites. Recently returned to Birmingham to teach in schools and focus on composition and projects. The pieces on iCompositions are made using Sibelius Music Notation software, then recorded with Audio Hijack as MP3 with the internal MIDI sounds, the pieces are intended to be played by real instruments of course. I have Garritan Personal Orchestra and Garage Band 2, but my eMac just isn't able to cope with rendering my pieces. Usually, these days, create music from jamming then refine a piece by developing ideas using structured composing or sometimes they stay jams. I learn music the same way, but in reverse order.... more on this topic later.
