 you lost power with the use of midi guitar (but this time very well emulated)! you should use a better vst for the synth.The voice burnst everything on chorus due to a hard limiting.You could have made your voice more stronger and 'tenor bass' with the use of a reverb well tunes.Maybe you should try to change the position of the micro when you're recording your voice and EQ it. |

| when did you begin to make music? i don't know mixcraft but you should take a look at cockos Reaper (free), for a really good vst free amp take a look at Lecto (by poulin (free too)) , Fruity EQ is not really the best take a look at ddmf EQ II (free too) , for a comp look at Blockfish channel compressor (free) , i don't know decent free reverb.....use a limiter too to prevent clipping. these tools are not the one i use , but they are free and well know.with these tools you will have a better sound if you know how to use it. what soundcard do you use? with wich headphone? you should join the KVR audio community , there are a lot of person wich will help you to enpower your knowdlege with these tools.Here it's more a giant music compilation. WHo tells you that distorded guitar don't need compression ? huge power death metal guitar are very compressed and EQ ! it give the power to the guitar !!!(sorry for my bad english but i'm french) ps:you should change your micro , because it's a toy , not a real mic for sing...i can understand it cost a lot , but i have everything i 've dreams since now only 2-3 month (i begin recording there is now 7 years , and i start writing there is 15 years ago...And i begin to show my work there is 3-4 year ago ,maybe you're too 'young' to pretend to show your creation ? i don't know).But i repeat again every kind of music are interesting , listen everything and try to analyse how the things are done and try to make the things just like you think.When i begin music, i was making big huge heavy death metal, but now i do something wich do not look like the other , enpower your style , your feelings and be yourself ! |
