Biography
I started out as a base brat. My dad was a hillbilly from Kentucky and my moms a dutch girl from Endhoven in the Netherlands. Needles to say this has caused some cultural confusion but somehow I manage.
Music has been a part of my life since i can remember. My first instrument was the violin at which I totaly sucked, I then moved on to the piano at which i displayed some talent. i went on to study electronic music with Robert A. Beede in California paying my dues on an Emu modular system. I managed to work for Emu in the 80's and early 90's as a test grunt and got to play with all kinds of cool instruments like the EII,EIII Emax, Proteus, SP1200. during this time I was with a Band in Santa Cruz called the Human Race. That band broke up to become Vincents Ear and Naked Ape the latter of which I'm still associated. I live in Capitola with my wife, three cats, an anti social gopher Snake Named Snappy, and an obsesive compulsive Border Collie given to us by our Son who currently resides in the Great State of Alaska where he is pursuing an Electrical Engineering Degree.
