| Serengeti by ShadowofNine | 3 days ago |
| I recall the first version. This seems much more intense. The sensation of speeding over the plains is great. Easily picture herds of animals, grasslands stretching endlessly. The threat of predator and the struggle for life beneath the hot sun in a parched land. Jeez, I'm thirsty..... | |

| This is a real rush. High voltage from beginning to end. Mandika writes with such wisdom and insight. Using the old style blues guitar in a break beat fascinates me in it's historical influence. The focal point is Mandika's voice and words which I am awed by. ( I need to go tell my kid how cool I am now) lol. | |

![]() Hey...I really like the vocals first off...harmonies are a real neat headphone trip to hear. Music as always tight and together. I can't help but wonder how a cd of your music would do out there in the cold cruel world. I'd be willing to bet it would do alright. |

| 1931 ? Wow, didn't know that. But I don't know a lot of stuff so I shouldn't be surprised. This song is always wonderful. Lyrics and melody make magic together. I'm probably going to be humming this the rest of the day now. Thanks David. | |

| Man....been a while since I've stopped in to listen to what you've been doing. Chris. This is great. Music and vocals fit with the lyrics which are conveyed with conviction because you actually understand them. There's never any "faking" it in your music. Keeping it real, heart felt and intellectually understood gives your music it's richness. | |

![]() mellow jazz. Man, you cover so many genres with ease. Guitar really sets it up and the piano takes over. Funny, I kept anticipating the guitar to return so it really makes the piece striking. |

| Deeper Light (DI) by becwil | 16 days ago |
| Full of ever changing feeling. Like a journey. I enjoy the layers of sound much like viewing a painting of rich and multiple colors. Only thing that I could think of is being able to manipulate the attack and decay of the notes for even more subtle enhancement. I think this is a beautiful piece that comes from heart and soul. Right down to the last harp pluck which gives time to reflect back on what I heard, it leaves a lasting impression. | |

![]() I think it's a great exercise. This still holds your thoughtfulness and perception. Maybe not quite as poetic. The key is that not everyday is exciting. The mundane tends to be the usual. However it is how one interprets the mundane and become consciously aware. I think it carries a lot of merit to work with what is right in front of us. By the way...I sit in my car before work and write. Maybe that's why I relate so well. lol. |
