Great song! The lead vocal is terrific, reminds me of Chrissie Hynde, but unique in its own way.

Wow! What an amazing voice. I love, love, love your harmonies and admire your pitch control so much. Your singing truly deserves a good mic, though I'm glad you're not letting the lack of one stop you from recording.

Hey mister, you sure as hell know how to play that gee-tar. Everyone should have this much fun when they make music!

Very nice music, ponkey and Mysti, you've outdone yourself this time. I agree with Baboon's Pretenders comparison. I thought of Chrissie Hynde immediately, which is one of the biggest compliments I can think of.

Please, please do more of this type of music, you have such a nice warm tone in your voice and the vocal melody is terrific. You are such a multi-faceted artist and I'm thrilled to hear this side of you.

I agree with the suggestions for compression and I'd add to make sure the music and vocals have matching reverb and echo on the master, so they seem as though they're in the same space. I can't wait to hear the remix, although this is fairly mind-boggling as it is.

Howdy neighbor. While I agree with Electrosketch that it might be interesting to hear a version with a more intense vocal, I really like the way you sang this because it underlines the sense of resignation in the lyrics. If I ran the world, I'd keep the vocal this way.

Very, very nice production, nice mix and I really, really like your voice very much. The only criticism I have of this is that I think the song may be a little long and you may want to think of trimming it a smidge or adding some more variation.

I'm really very impressed.

Hi guys, thanks so much for all the great comments and support. I haven't been able to participate here as much as I'd anticipated (and hope to) but I truly appreciate the kindness of people here at iComps. lilichi, thanks so much for the podcast! I'd love to hear it; is there somewhere I can find it and download?

This is the happiest song about ingratitude I've ever heard. Kudos to everyone involved and especially to amanda for those (fore)background vocals.

Pure pop goodness.

I've got news for you, mister. No one likes unloading the dishwasher, but I'll bear The Journey in mind, next time I pull KP. smiley

You know I love this song. It never hurts to tell you again, though. Those finger snaps are the bomb-diggety.

Hey man, you can really play the guitar, but this song is really sad. Have you considered Wellbutrin?

Mr. Ray you write so beautifully and your music is just as wonderful.

This is saying a lot, Tom, but this is my favorite of all your instrumentals. Wow, just insanely gorgeous!

Wow! Thanks for the support, zal! I feel very welcomed. Have you noticed all the songs I've posted seem to start with B? Very strange...
