![]() Nice use of the atonal-esque guitar loops across the repetitive keys line. Well done. Love the synth bass addition. This tune has some potential. |

![]() The auto-pan was interesting. Good job building the layers up from almost nothing. Nice use of the standard Garage Band loops - changing out the sounds on the MIDI loops was a nice touch. |

| Nice. Love the whole step mod. I got a little lost in the first groove transition but you pulled it out for me. | |

![]() Rock with a hint of blues. Nice. Lovin' the groove when it kicks in. This pushes forward nicely and builds well. Not overdone. Very creative - lots of variety but I'm not getting lost in the tune. Love it. |

![]() 7/4...very nice. Kind of like a teenager...it just won't sit down and be good, will it? There are hints standard meter but the odd time always comes back and pushes forward. Great work. |

![]() Sweet groove. Good transitions. I love the way your stuff blends new wave jazz with funk and some of the more traditional jazz elements. Very cool tune. |

| Very interesting progression. Love the fusion/jazz melodic style - especially the way it leads across the temporary mods. | |

| Wow. Thank you for your comments. I definitely struggled with how to bring it to a close and I considered a number of options, finally deciding to treat it more like an arch of dynamics. | |

![]() Wow. This just keeps pushing forward from the top to the end. Very stylistic vocal work and the dry vocals give a great "realistic" feel to the whole thing. (I probably would have added some delay and reverb - but I would have been wrong). And great questions! Is it right? The change from the shuffle groove drums to the "straight" feel was unexpected. The way you did the instrumental breakdrown...what a cool idea. I would have liked to see you go back into the verse/chorus one last time before the end to tie a bow on the whole piece. |

| SonofSam, Sounds great. Let me know what you come up with. I'd love to have several different artists lay lyrics over the top of it. Let me know if you need anything to facilitate being able to do this (files, etc). As to lyrics, I don't want to dictate that, so just please see above. |

| teaks, Sounds great. I listened to some of your stuff and I like it. I'm afraid I don't actually know what a Tricky feel is but that's cool. You've got style and know what you're doing. I've enabled the download button and changed the license to allow remixes. You can download from here or I can make other arrangements as necessary. As to the lyrical content, if something hits you based on the title or write-up, cool. If not, you can write what you're feeling or just freestyle. The only thing that I ask is that you stay away from the explicit lyrics. Loopmeister |

![]() Oh yeah! Great use of guitars and strings against that minimalistic bass line. A little disco, a little funk, a little motown. Love it from the top. Keep rockin' it! |

![]() Very interesting. I'm not generally a fan of ambient...this cut is very cool. I love the way you've programmed the stereo pan into the percussion parts. I've considered iDrum as an option but I'm largely unfamiliar with the application because I haven't put any research time into it. You may have pushed me over the edge. What did you do with the compression (if any). As a rule, it seems like you have a very consistent volume level with a few changes in color even as you transition over sections. Also, where did the concept come from for the form of the tune? It seems very "stream of consciousness" but holds together well. |

| Thank you all for the comments. Also, thanks sideburnsbob for the suggestion on the reverb for the kit. MIDI drums have often been the bane of my creative existance - they're easy to edit and work with but it's amazingly hard to get them to sound live or "up front". I'll try the reverb thing. | |

![]() Funk minimalism. Love the way you changed chord structures and dissonances above the static bass line. I could hear this in a club. And love it! |

![]() Cool tune. Love the "jam band" feel. Interesting juxtoposition of funk and fusion. Very intricate arrangement. The 1/2 time section in the middle was totally unexpected! I'm not familiar with Nigerian pop music, but I see both similarities and striking differences from what I have heard in Zimbabwe and South Africa. What a great continent to pull from! |

![]() Nice job transitioning between sections. The top of the tune seemed a bit square but when the dance beat hit, it smoothed out quite a bit. Love the guitar licks. |
