| Before the Rain by videoscore | 1 month ago |
| I think I know what RazbaqueDirge means--one of the piano tracks sounds kind of metallic in my right ear. Maybe it's my headphones. But the percussion sounds much better on your new keyboard! I usually think of the time before the rain as a brooding, intense, expectant time, but this is a happy rain dance! Very fun! | |
| Apparition by videoscore | 2 months ago |
| Beautiful delicate keys conjure wistful dreams, just out of reach like wisps of smoke. Sweet and somehow sad. Love it. | |
| The River Niger by videoscore | 3 months ago |
| So pretty! A celebration of rivers everywhere, the lifeblood of our planet. I like the light and airy sound of the piano and guitar, and the bassline that anchors them. Makes me want to dance through the day! | |
| Losing America by videoscore | 4 months ago |
| Your songs usually seem intimate, a communication of feelings between you and the listener, but this one somehow projects to a wider audience. Maybe it's the absence of the flute. It seems dramatic, even cinematic; I can see it being used in film. I hear sadness for the way the world changed and our country's shadow elements emerged, manifested in the recent wars and all the related actions, but I also hear compassion, as if for a wounded child that strikes out in all directions. I agree with Harald, the bassline adds a solidity and solemnity. | |
| Glory Day by Arbori | 5 months ago |
| What a beautiful gesture, and beautiful song! Majestic and solemn, full of awe. | |
| Mountains Take Wing by videoscore | 5 months ago |
| This is magnificent. Mountains taking wing, a contrast of strength and fragility with the piano floating over the deep strings. If only we all could reach those heights. A beautiful, triumphant song for your brother. | |
| Dance of the Water Sprites by videoscore | 7 months ago |
| Very fun! Unexpected and enchanting sounds every minute, surprisingly it all works. I'm mystified and delighted! | |
| Hope by videoscore | 7 months ago |
| Lilting, catchy, and full of joy as well as hope. If we can dance in the face of fear and pain they lose some of their power. Good wishes to your family, that you have joy and love in whatever time you have together, because we never know. | |

| Beautiful and fragile, like life. Thanks for the heartfelt expression. Peace. | |
| Fallow Fields by videoscore | 9 months ago |
| Had to come back for another listen and a better comment. I love the contrast between the deep falling tones and the higher piano, and the flute floating above it all. So rich and complex! | |
| Requiem in Red by videoscore | 9 months ago |
| I love the delicacy of the piano: fragile, like life, while the flute soars at the end as the eternal spirit. You brought the song to a close really well. Thank you for sharing something so deeply personal. (and can't wait to hear the lyrics!) | |

| Sometimes the best art is a mystery. | |
| Follow the River by videoscore | 10 months ago |
Unique and evocative arrangement! I think this would work well for a cinematic adaptation of her story, with the gentle folk music of her home at the beginning and end, and the dramatic interlude of her captivity. I like what you did with the photograph, too--lively berries shining where all seems dark and cold, seeds of next Spring. Can't wait to hear the lyrics! ![]() |

| A Serene Dream by videoscore | 10 months ago |
| It's beautiful, Tim! Thank you. It's been a pleasure and a priveledge to be your friend and to listen to your music evolve over the years. It's truly special music that touches the souls of all who hear it. I'm so proud of your success and so glad you have this wonderful community to share and collaborate with. To many more years of musical visions. . . ! | |
| Luminous Flight by videoscore | 11 months ago |
| Truly impressive, Tim & Sarah! Epic and cinematic, captures the raw power behind seemingly effortless flight, and the breaking free of bonds to the earth, to sail on a dream. Also, the ocean looks like the surface of a cake I made once. ![]() Thanks for this! Can't wait for the next one! |

| I love this. Beautiful, touching lyrics right from the heart and such elegant, gentle music to give them form. | |
| Snow Falling Softly (newer version) by videoscore | 1 year ago |
| I have to smile when you call this a very old song, since I've been listening to your music for more than 20 years now. I still have those cassette tapes. It has been so much fun and so inspiring to hear your music evolve, but it has always had that hallucinogenic way of evoking images and emotions. I love the added dimensions this remake has--I'm transported back to the West Virginia hills. Best of luck with the CD, my friend. | |
| Coyote Floe by videoscore | 1 year ago |
| I half expected to hear a coyote howl echoing the flute during the interlude, much like the loon call in nich's "Lonesome Loon". Very pretty! | |
| Dancing on the Edge by videoscore | 1 year ago |
Unaccountably conjures visions of coyotes dancing at the edge of pack ice A lovely expression and contemplation on solitude. |

| What a haunting vision your lyrics create. Creepy, in a good way. You have such a gift for working not only with notes, but with words. The music is so beguiling. This will follow me around today. . . | |
| Rainswept by videoscore | 1 year ago |
| Now this is awesome. I like the complexity and turbulence underlying the simple piano melody, suggesting the innocence of childhood against the backdrop of war. The sound effect at the end of the interlude is breathtaking, as is the abrupt ending. Evocative! | |

| Saturated ++ by RAVENS | 2 years ago |
| You are SO creative! I love your music and lyrics in Saturated, and how the delay conveys the feeling of being so full of emotion you wish you could "purge", pardon the expression. It's like "onomatopoeia" for music. The second song is so surprising in how well the oriental strings work with the R&B style. It seems like you love to experiment and take risks with your music, it's no wonder we all admire you. Thanks for these songs! | |

| Dance of the Prairie Wind by kassia | 2 years ago |
| I'm literally blown away! If I hadn't known, I would have said yes, Aaron Copeland wrote this. It really captures the prairie as a living, complex, dynamic presence. I also love your Mary Oliver quote-- I will hear it in my head today as I work out in the Midwest among the wind farms. Congratulations on an incredible piece of work! | |
| Golden (Tomorrow Will Shine) by kassia | 3 years ago |
| Love this--it's rich, full, and warm, awesome and uplifting without being intimidating. Very visual, like a film track. I can imagine it with percussion, but I agree it doesn't need it. Thanks for telling about your composing process! I'm not a musician and wouldn't know a chord progression if it bit me, but it's fascinating to hear about how you make a song, and how you need to "see" it first. A light at the end of a tunnel, indeed! Congrats! |
