| It sounds quite good Eido, very "helly" one! Regarding the bass probably I'd like a more strong presence, something hitting your stomach without distorcing of course, this is a bit too gentle to my ears maybe but anyway the global thing sounds absolutely balanced and effective! |

| Thanx so much mates, your analysis are very supportive and interesting and I can only be happy to get them; based on your inputs I'm taking 3 directions: - to structure differently the song following Gerry tips (particularly important I found the necessity to put a bridge between verses and chorus!); - to simplify/clarify some parts of the arrangement (as Geo suggests) even if the project isn't that crowded at the moment (it consists of 12 tracks: 1 drums, 1 bass, 1 el. guitar, 3 vocals, 2 synths, 1 scratch and 3 special fxs); - to let vocals be more effective (as both Dave, Figurochi and Geo say). My idea of arrangement was to realize something musically close to the british pop style (let's say "Robbie Williams" kind of), that's why I'm using those particular sounds. Thanx again, it seems to me this is the right kind of interaction in order to improve a piece of music!! |
