great song guys... i have to say. the synths are pretty amazing, I'm guessing sinse you said you built them yourself that they are VSTs? or did you use your own samples on an analog synth?..... amazing either way. Song needs more though, by listening, to me it sounds like a demo of synths and not an actual song, don't know what type of trance you were shootin for, but it could use some better build ups and a climax. great work tho. -=McD=- |

| I really appreciate your feedback, i assume you are comparing this track to professional level mixing. I first want to say that I agree, that the low end needs to have more of a boost, and I bet if someone wanted to add a bass track, it would get that boost and then some!!! also, I wanted to say that, my main expertise lie in the guitar rather than the mixing.. I try to better my mixing in every track, because it is important to know how. kyrka: I don't know what you mean when you said crapping out, but I assume you mean that the level of gain is too high or something... I'd like to say that, this is how a prefer my tone, you don't have to agree, but I love the huge amount of boost, strength, and warm feelings it gives to the guitar. But the sound you hear is not the effect of pushing the tracks, you are just hearing the guitar's overgain.. which is my personal preference. Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed the song.. and I will continue to take as much feedback as you have to offer. |

Many people didn't like Eddie Van Halen when he played the keyboards, yet it never stoped him, no matter how many people complained.  Pretty good song, although, goobelyga is right about drums, you should through down a couple more instrument tracks, and fix the EQ on the guitar, it is a little over-trebbled, and there are parts that hurt my ears.... but ya good song for this style. |
