| @C_Man: I'm not really a country fan either to tell you the truth - it's not that I hate it, there's just stuff I like mo' betta'. I do dig this band though, because they seem to be right on that line of modern country and good ole' southern rock. The guitar player (Tim Standish) is a monster - extremely gifted, and the vocalist is actually mind blowingly smooth. The drummer was actually a stand-in, who had never even heard the song before (their regular drummer was sick the day of the session) He played just what I was hoping for though - just the pocket and a very few breaks. Gottal love a pocket drummer! I dig the band, and really enjoyed our sessions. We did a five song EP, but this track isn't on it. We're now in production on a full lenghth CD that will contain this, and so far I'm grinning ear to ear! @Moviz: Nice to meet you too! Thanks for the nice comments!! I really dug your summer song. I've been to England in the summmer - August 1984 and the entire summer 1985 to be exact, in Perhore in the Vale of Evesham, Worchestershire. It was so hot I thought I was in sub-saharan Africa. I think it was an anomaly, but really changed my perception of England. I've been there many times, but usually when it's wet, cold, and downright un-American.....!!!! ![]() |

| Upside Down Days by RichardJohn | 12 hours ago |
![]() Oh my!! That guitar at the beginning reminds me of "Midnight at the Oasis", but then it goes full on Modern Pop/Americana. You have an amazing voice - totally commercial. Excellent backing band here, and the production is spot on. I think I smell an upside down hit!! |

| Oh my! I love this song (Young at Heart), and this is a great rendition. I'm not going to say that you sound like Frank, because he was a snowflake for sure, but you definitely sound like you could hang with the Rat Pack. Great vocal tone and jazzy timing. Great backing tracks by the way! | |
| Little Prince (HE) by Xolv | 12 hours ago |
![]() Wow!!! Far out!! First off, I love the story of the Little Prince, and correct me if I'm mistaken, but you used some musical themes from the film? At any rate, this is first class! I dig the little percussion breaks between sections. Nicely performed and produced! |

| The Tarot Reader's Lament by padowan_learner | 13 hours ago |
![]() Big sounds at the top - sounds serious......until.....!!! I love this, but I'm staying away from the Tarot lady - too much power in that paper. Funny, entertaining, well performed, well recorded, short and to the point. What more could you want?! Great track! |

| Lovely Summertime by Moviz | 13 hours ago |
![]() Cool! Reminds me of a summer beach movie, which I'm guessing is what you intended? Nice groove and progression, and the turn-arounds are a little unusual, in a good way. That minor chord at the end of the phrase was unanticipated, which is always cool. Nice track! |

| Too many Horns by alanatomic | 13 hours ago |

![]() Beautiful guitar right at the top! I like the line your playing, and really dig the recording of that guitar. I like the vocal, just wish it was a bit higher in the mix . It's not buried exactly, but just below where one might expect it against the music, which is fine, but the vocalist is good enough to stand out a hair more. Of course, that's all just a matter of opinion/preference. The full orchestration is rocking, and really punchy sounding. Great track! |

![]() Nice jazzy little party sound you have here! I felt welcome to the lounge. Yeah man, that's happening! I dig your brass, the bass, the wah-wah guitar, and the Barry White vox talking someone out of their underthings (as basically did Barry). Cheese and crackers!!!!!! Hahahahahahah!!!! Fuzz face guitar solo....how authentic....Ernie Isley!!!! Classic!! |

| I'm a Big Boy Now by ClayPotts | 1 day ago |
![]() Clay - this made me feel like I was listening to Prince backing a morose Meatloaf....melancholy would be an upgrade to the vibe I'm getting here. Really dark, really......defeated?! I really fell into this one man, eyes closed, thinking about the times I've had to tell myself "I'm a Big Boy Now". Line that popped my eyes open: I throw the darts across the yard, but they don't hit the neighbors Uh yeah, dark, groovy, atmosphery and generally trance-inducing - great track!!! |

| Th Time Is Now (feat. Romy Harmony) by C_Man | 1 day ago |
| Oh wow, that intro is creepy as hell in a good way!! Nice world beat going on, and that khanun sounding thing - way cool. The female vocal is excellent, and again the treatment is great - electric and alive. I dig the song itself a lot too, beyond the "sound". It reminds me a little of stuff from Kate Bush's "The Dreaming" LP, sort of reminiscent of "Sat In Your Lap". (sorry about comparisons, but how else can you convey it?) Great track, fantastic performances and production! |
|
| Conquest (2012 Remix) by C_Man | 1 day ago |

![]() bad-*** reggae-blues here, ska, whatever....it cooks! Great guitars, sax, and the underlying groove is spine-lubricating. I really dig the vocals, both the vocalist and the saucy sound on them. Nice, nice, nice guitar at the middle-8. Love it! |

| Higher Ground (Cover) by seasky | 3 days ago |
![]() Hey, that's classy!! I love the organ swell under the intro groove, very tasty. That's a sweet sounding e-piano too, tone and style remind me of Joe Samples. I'm not sure that if I didn't know this was "Higher Ground" that I would immediately (or ever) make the association, but knowing it helps me to hear it. That's cool! At the chorus/turnaround is the only partial giveaway. Very cool!! |

| I always loved this song, and was always impressed that Barbara actually wrote it. I actually used to do this is a duet - two singers with guitars - always moved the room because the melody is so strong, and that sustained note at the end over the ascending chords - how gorgeous. I really dig this interpretation - the orchestra sounds so live, and the vocal is tuneful and very POWERFUL!! This is an outstanding version of a mega-classic. So, mega kudos!! |

| Babe Goes to Bollywood by pharmakeus | 11 months ago |
| Nice little trance you got going here!! That clean guitar cuts through so well, like it's sitting on top of my right monitor. Neat shimmery groove. I dig the "Great Gig In The Sky" type vocal, and all the little weird synth elements going on, there's one thing that sounds like a cross between a sitar and digeridoo - weird. The change up to the trumpet over the jazzy groove was unexpected - really cool! | |

Love the band, especially the piano, that groovy upright bass, the string section, and the excellent classical guitar - which I think is synth?! The piano solo is outstanding! The vocal on this is wonderful - strong, pure tone with the ability to swoop low and soar high without effort. Great track!! |

![]() Psychedelia rules!!! I really dig this --- dark, smoky, shimmery! Great backing tracks, with some interesting chord choices - unusual and very compelling - almost pleasantly discordant at times. I dig the jazziness combined with the '60 rock vibe and '90s/00s sounds - cool blend of styles! The guitar playing the head figure in the basement register is genius and would have been right at home in any James Bond score. The vocals shine all over this too - EXQUISITE TRACK!!! |

| HOLY MOLEY!!! This is gigantic, as in BIG! What a fantastic orchestra - and a beautiful pastoral theme. Stunning vocals - trained well I would say - theater, opera? Love your low tones on this, you know, the real hard ones!! And then when you reach the top of the scale you have a wonderful purity of tone - just the right amount of tremolo to emote without sounding like a goat! I heard a few moments that made me picture Barbara S. - hope that's ok? Wonderful piano interlude and great modulation to the key change. EXCELLENT!!!! |

And the band is great here - love it all, feels like I'm in a cozy corner at Baker's Keyboard Lounge (located at the intersection 8 Mile Road and Livernois Avenue in Detroit, MI). The rolling toms throughout the track really created a cool momentum, and the panning of same at the bottom of the track was pretty slick! Great tune! |

I'm 9 years old, flipping around the AM dial and somehow my radio is melding all the current tunes into one giant joyous hippy trip through psychedelia, Timothy Leary drawing me deeper into the Id, colors, water, vibrations, sensations. EXCELLENT is not strong enough a word here - let try ASTONISHING! |

| One more comment if I may, regarding the lyrics. I honestly don't know what you were singing about because I was caught up in the music, including the singing from a melody and tone point of view, but not focused on the message - you know, the way you listen the first time you hear something. HOWEVER - the hook phrase "she's dangerous" is very compelling to me, and, well, hooky! What I really dig about it is that your song description talked about some event(s) or person(s) that have come up in the UK press of late - I have no idea what they may be, but it didn't matter because I'm hearing "she's dangerous" - she could be anything, anyone, an ex-girlfriend, a lady cop, a serial killer, whatever - the listener just pictures a dangerous female, however that image may manifest itself in their mind. The Police were great at having a hook line that would be some ordinary thing - like "Wrapped Around Your Finger", or "Every Breath You Take", and have the casual listener believe it was a trite love ditty, when in reality it wasn't a love song at all. You kind of did that - again, I confess to not be aware of the UK press connection here, but if I was I'm sure I'd be even more impressed. Several minutes later and the hook line is still ricocheting around my gray matter! I don't know if that made any sense to you whatsoever, but regard it as high praise. Kudo's! Mark |

I loved the version I heard a moment ago, so I decided to check this out. Glad I did. Here's an idea....if you have an album in the works I'd put both versions on it - the collab early, this one later in the record, maybe at the end, like a reprise - in fact, maybe not the whole song - fade in, let it go ahile, fade out.....???? EXCELLENT STUFF!! |

| @C-Man: First, thanks for the nice comment, always appreciated! Secondly, I just listened to "Let Me B There 4 U". I'm posting this comment in the hopes that it might serve to drive others to listen to your AMAZING song! Thanks again! | |

| Oh man!! This is really excellent Mr. C Man!!! Loved it right from the top with that kick-booty bendy-notey synth-celeste & sitar sounding thingy. When the vocals came in I was equally delighted. When you break into the second verse and the backing gets more expansive this is a real treat. Excellent all over, great song, performance, production. Kudos!!!!! |

![]() Great story, and an excellent story telling voice - sort of like Garrison Keillor, or Tom Beaudette - very cool backing throughout too. Really good!! |
