Thanks for the love man. My guitar is a simon and patrick. It's a canadian guitar hailed as a very poor man's Martin. It's got a sweet sound to it, but not very full.

Very cool production. The sound quality kind of reminds me of Daniel Johnston, but well-played. Nice work.

Great picking, caleb. I'm a jealous, jealous man.

Yeah, i'm a bit technically challenged. I like the lo-fi sound though. If my production were any better, you might be forced to pay more attention to my bad voice and sloppy playing...

I'm using a G4 with a mobile preamp and this was the first time i used a Shure acoustic mic. That's about it. Still plenty of kinks to work out. Thanks for all the kind words though.
She'll Make You Feel So Bad by martindales 6 years ago
Thanks for the kind remarks. The performance is always a little bit of an issue for me. I'm not a strong guitar player, singer, or technically that savvy. But i'm working on those things a little bit. Glad you liked the song and the writing though.

Glad that you like it. I really struggled putting this one together for some reason. Thanks for the compliments and for venturing into the country/western genre to check us out.

Wow, thanks so much. You don't happen to run a record label do you?? I'm joking, i'm joking.

I'm pretty much an amateur on the guitar so i don't know what key it is but I usually play that song with either the third or fifth fret capo'd. I can't remember. It kind of came off as some weird "Graceland" kind of vibe with the rhythm and percussion.

Yeah, i'm particularly proud of the Hubbard rhyme myself. I'm flattered to know that you sing it around the house. That's fantastic. I have some other novelty songs that i've written but haven't recorded yet, so stay tuned. Thanks again for your comments.
