Reviews from international network: Mauro Voconi is an Italian bassist, originating from Abruzze. His technique and executions are the musical fruit of his great experience and many influences which denote his character and personality. He collaborates with artists of world-wide reputation.

He has realized and produced its new record “Thanks My Friends” with artists as Otmaro Ruiz, Mario Schiliro' (Zuchero’s guitar player) and, of course with his legendary group “Lytra Group”, in which he has done all compositions and arrangements.

Voconi’s music and executions are of great impact with a personal touch of Fusion/DUB and Latin/jazz contaminations. His sound is authentic and meticulous.

Voconi new collaboration involve an English artist (former Oasis’s band player) which whom he will tour and record live. His new album cover rhythms of acid & Latin/Jazz, this will be recorded with artists of high caliber.

As a classic bass player his slap/tapping techniques are fulminating while when playing acid jazz and South American music he succeeds by his sweeping force and his character. Optimal musician, great personality.

His has setup particular amplitudes switching between high frequencies to the pedal’s techniques which are difficult to understand.

Remarkable timber and a dynamic personal sound.
