Nice Mood. I would like it more broken up in the middle by taking the drums out (or adding flange to them) for a few bars, but other than that nice stuff. - and yes I'm still around!

Very nice piece! Reminds me a lot of The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld. Good start to 2009.

Hard core synth stuff going on here. A bit of Jarre and Skinny Puppy feel so right up my alley. Love the use of bells - don't hear that too much these days.

I like this one, reminds me of an electronic outfit called Fluke with use of electronic and guitars. Fits in very well.

Anyone who has listened to my stuff know this is up my ally - love it. My only suggestions would be to ease back the reverb on your voice and pull the level up as your great voice gets a little lost in the instrumentation (at least in headphones). But great none the less!

Very Jean-Michel Jarre feel to it - Kinda Epic overall. Nice.

Electric goodness I can sink my teeth into - nice stuff.

Thanks for the comments. Yes it was intentional to end on the claps and my original arrangement was different than it is now. Still I may revisit the song at some point and change or extend the ending. Thanks for the constructive criticism - it's good to know.

Excellent riffs going on here. We're celebrating 14 years on the 9th so I guess there is life after marriage!

Nice Flow, I can dig it. Not sure about that strange sound through out (sounds like pushing a chair or something) but did keep my interest.

I've only done 3 vocal recordings currently - for closest to Depeche Mode, check out Thrill me on my page
Voices by monospark 5 years ago
Thanks - Instruments would include an Akai AX-60 keyboard, (rack mounted) Ensoniq mirage sampler, Kawai K3m, Yamaha FB-01, Yamaha ys-200 keyboard, Alesis HR-16 drum machine and matching sequencer.

Pretty solid electro tune. Like the Japanese feel in some bits.

Has a good Jarre feel to it but could use a break in the middle from the industrial snares just to mix it up a bit. But still good.

My kind of electronics, very massive attack feel.

Love the bass, and I can see why it could go longer as you can get carried away in the rift of it all.

Nice, I love gritty synths.
TwoPointZero (final) by monospark 5 years ago
Thanks for the comment, yeah I added the crowd noised because the opening cord felt like an anthem of sorts, a way to start off a concert. (and since I may never have that opportunity it helps with the fantasy a bit smiley

I like the slow build and use of the subtle Power guitars, but you should pull back on the melody a bit, less is sometimes more.

Thanks for the feedback, have made it downloadable now.
Black And White (instrumental version) by monospark 5 years ago
Thanks for the feedback. Vocals would come in during the guitar cord and strings before the chorus - I actually have them there just turned off recording vocals is a lot harder to get right I find.

Sounds like a Depeche Mode remix - and I love the Depeche mode sound.

Okay you got me with this one. Fabulous Delirium (one of my favs) sound at the start and pretty good guitar but this could be taken further. Add female vocals and regulate the guitar to and area of the song (guitar solo here) and it could be really nice. I may have to collaborate on this one.

Nicely done and I do like storms (except when it means I have to turn all my electrical equipment off).

Ahhh mellow city, how I drive the streets of thee. I don't know how you can make such long songs that can still retain my attention. I'm always afraid of wearing out the idea in a song or just coming up with enough to fill it. That could be our collaboration, I'll supply you with have baked songs for you to fillout smiley
TwoPointZero (original) by monospark 5 years ago
Thanks man, My first upload (and one of my favorites) was kinda lonely here. A bit of a tribute to Paul Oakenfold (I call the opening synth sound Oakenstab)

Nothing like heavy electronics to drive you, or drive to. Sounds like stuff by CellDweller (check iTunes). Good stuff.

Great stuff. I like unusual pieces. Love the base/piano that comes in halfway. Don't mind the clips at all as it adds power to the piece. Definite fav of mine.

Nice, reminds me of some of David Sylvians' work using voice or poetry washing over the music. Not strange at all!

Good synth work, could use a little more diversity but solid on the electronic sound. Funny the song I just uploaded is called TwoPointZero - I sense a theme..

Nice stuff but it's missing an element, that being Vocals. I can almost hear the lyrics coming from this piece. And maybe cut back on the tripling snare a bit although it would be less noticeable with vocals. Good work though.
