| Double track pieces, with each track pan'd to either the left or right to give you a rich stereo. On top of 5th's, play simply melody lines, but double up on them and create harmonies. For a really smooth sound with a lot of guitar going on, compression is a really critical tool for a rock or metal master track. Dynamic multiband compression can really create space out of a lot of "noise" and is ideal for a really busy sound with lots going on. |
