Biography
I was raised southern gospel music. Jimmy Swaggert, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Kingsmen, The Happy Goodmans, and so many more were heard our home stereo quite often. My sister became a huge Osmond fan later, so I heard alot of "Crazy Horses' and 'Puppy Love', also. Then, I discovered ELO, Styx, REO Speedwagon, and other great arena bands and fell in love with rock. I was always to scared to sing in front of anyone even though I wanted to deeply, and I was too immature and impatient to learn the guitar back then. Adulthood hit and I found myself in relationship that was unsupportive of my musical dreams so I shoved them to the back of my mind. Then, at the age of thirty, after traveling many dead-end roads, I surrendered to Jesus. I had become a christian when I was nine, but I had gotten away from the christian walk for quite a while (I was 'backsliding' as the old-schoolers call it). As my relationship with my Savior grew, my passion for music was rekindled. He had given me a loving and supportive wife during this time and she believed in me and the music God was giving me and does to this day. The music has taken turns along the way, from SG to praise and worship, to songs that tell stories but its been an adventure! I hope you enjoy the songs I have here and will watch for a new CD to come out, hopefully by year-end! God's Blessings!
