Unarchived
July 30, 2012 | 10:01 pm

Tonight, I unarchived any songs on iCompositions that I've been hiding all of these years.

Throughout the past 4 to 5 years, I've been hiding songs on my artist page here on iComp. I decided I'm tired of this and I'm opening up everything, no matter how embarrassing it is to me.

In total, I opened up about 24 or so (I lost count while writing this) tracks that had previously been unavailable.

Cool.

Yeah, in my own experience, to my own ears, my early stuff can sometimes seem lacking or less than, due to a lot of different reasons. I continue to let it all show though, no matter what I think of it. I have to remind myself, it isn't for me to judge my artistic endeavors; I only need worry about creating the pieces uniquely to the best of my ability, at the time. I also think that for everyone to share our journeys is good for humanity, each of us and collectively. We all start off knowing less about our art than we know now, even though the desire to produce it can be raging all the while. And we all still have much to learn. Anywhere along that path is only that, a point in time, a snap shot of where we were at that moment. It is interesting.

Dylan I find it difficult to believe that anything you've done is that bad. I look forward to listening. It's always an interesting journey to see how an artist progresses.
