| I like the beat, which in the style you implemented it, I never do for my work, so hearing it is interesting and new for me. Very enjoyable. Good effects on the vocals. I like at "could never have" that subtle echo. Makes me think of Pink Floyd's Money (just reminds me, based on the concept) but in a rather modern way. | hey thanks all! im still fixing some of the problems, fixed some harmonies. I might be cutting the bridge out of the track too. I found all the mic pops, thanks for pointed that out to me pharmakes. I feel theres something about it that still needs some major work, i think i dont like the harmonies I chose. Also, does it sound like Im straining my voice in some of the higher parts? Anyway, thanks everyone for the kind, supporting words! PS- How were the saxophone solos, I improvised on them. | Death, famine, plague and war, These'll be stuck in my head for sure. What is interesting about this song, to me, is your ability to keep this one line of lyrics up for basically the entire song without it getting incredibly boring and repetitive. The vocals could be improved, maybe by going up an octive and changing them around for a refresh to the listener, but all in all it was alright. Interesting, how it feels eerie to me when you say "sing along kids" and stuff like that for such a strict song. I like where your going. Good luck! I have never the heard the original song, but your cover was more than enjoyable. Vocals weren't the best, as you are aware of, but its honestly nothing that a little Pitch Correction software can't fix. You'd be surprised to know that you are a better singer than many of the artists that are on the top of the Billboard charts these days. One thing I know about recording instruments is that the Acoustic Guitar is, by far, one of the hardest to record professionally and in my opinion I think you aced it. Did you ever realize that the button for selecting if it has loops or not could easily be clicked in the wrong spot to make it say no loops instead of what I wanted: Mixed. Listen here, I have no problem with bad reviews, as long as they are critical and helping me make my song better. iCompositions is a community to talk about music, not if I accidently pressed the wrong button. It is so stupid that you would rate my song a 1 and give me bad ratings and a bad reputation just b.c. of a mistake! I'm 13 and even I would not do this. You are obviously incredibly immature. So, did you even listen to the song? Or were you too busy giving me a rating of 1 b.c. of what's written in a silly song description? |
