| I'll agree with PF--granted, I'm biased (and I know what it means to me when I wrote the lyrics), but I listen to this song at least once a day (along with "Because I Can..." It's been tough writing since those two songs...hard to beat this emotion. But, again, on behalf of myself, Ravens, and PF--we all thank you for your comments, praise, criticism, etc. |

| So, basically PF is saying I need to get off my behind and actually record the lyrics. (Personally, I think they're some of my best, if I do say so myself--and, usually I do. <grin> . But, as I told PF, I agree with Dani, and that isn't sappy...this is probably the most beautiful thing we've ever written (well, he's ever written...I can't take any claim to the music--that's his pure genius). This is brilliant! I kept waiting for the "heavy kick in" for some reason (I could see it kicking into something like that seamlessly). Although, I thought the jazzy kick in was very nice. Then, the break back to the original was sweet! I agree with PF, though...I know what you were going for...and if it were in CD/album/whateveryoucallitnowaways format, I'd say that would work, leading directly into something else. But here, I was kinda looking for more... But, overall, an excellent track! |
