| Wicked Annya (Dona Nobis Groovem Mix) by JD | 4 years ago |
| I gotta give it to JD. He put this tune(s) together. Ray is killin' too. I just played a bunch of notes as uber-groovy as I possibly could. I mean it's like a Los Lobotomys B-side or a Toto instrumental or something. Somebody sling some money at JD.(and give me some of it JD.) | |
| Wicked Annya (Galactic Short Bus Mix) by JD | 4 years ago |
| LBD. Now, I like that. With the right branding and associated marketing gimmicks, we could take over the world...Or maybe just sell a record or two. Either way is fine. LBD |

| You guys are too kind. The recording is indeed too hot Xolv. I'd like to say that once in a while, Jaco's bass sound distorted on a recording or two, (Continuum solo, low E) but honestly, I liked what came out the first time and decided to leave it. The input gain was way to hot on my Motu interface. Oh well. Thanks for listening. -N | |

| How To Rob A Train In Under Two Minutes by nealbowen | 5 years ago |
| Well orange, while I appreciate your thoughtful analysis and your considerable production acumen you bring to bear, anymore to the piece might have compromised the integrity of the song title. You know, that "under two minutes" part of the title. | |

| Una Canzone Per Maria Bella by JD | 5 years ago |
![]() Yeah! It's good without relying on flash or oddball instrumentation or anything like that. I wouldn't know anything about that though...er...uh...ahem. If I had any constructive criticism for this one, I'd say that it's almost too perfect. Rhythmically, it sounds a bit quantized. You might be ultra precise though too. I like the repetitive arpegiation. It's sort of Mod-Baroque. That probably doesn't make a lot of sense. I know what I mean. It's late. |

![]() Pure Stu Hamm. Nice work. A Kubicki must be the most recognizable bass guitar tone out there apart from maybe Jaco or Marcus, and even those can be faked pretty well if you know what you're doing. Though they remind me of spaceships, Kubicki basses are just fantastic. I could kick myself for selling mine. I think I will kick myself. |

| By the way, it's extra funny when all these people that take themselves too seriously get on here anddrop you little 'raisins' like "your tune isn't the right style for the category." Check out some of these people's idea of jazz(not to mention spelling). | |

| Perception (preview) by Everine | 5 years ago |
![]() I love the electric piano all the way through. I don't think it needs acoustic piano as a lead. It stands on it's own pretty well. Perhaps something a little lighter like a flute, soprano sax, synth, guitar, or perhaps even...oh I don't know...electric bass in the upper register. I also imagine a "Rocco"-style bass line, but I hear that on lots of things. |
|
| Duke's Return (w/Vocals) by JD | 5 years ago |

![]() I like it. The first section sounds like it might work well in a film. Like the "reflective/redemption" portion of a film. The next section makes me of Starfox for N64. Why? It just does. Nice. I also like Dream Theater. Especially that cover album they did with the Dixie Dregs and Zeppelin stuff on it. |

| Thanks for the constructive comments. That B3 is the GB Circus Organ. It's the only GB organ sound I really like. | |
| Displaced Regression by nealbowen | 6 years ago |
| Well, I recorded the ostinato for six bars or something like that, and then looped it. I still try to use only drum loops, but I did throw in some guitar loops for texture. A bit like polishing a turd, isn't it? This started as and was intended to be ridiculous source music for a film project. It has been sitting around for a while, so I decided what the heck...throw it out there. On a different note, I need those piano souds that you've got. I feel pretty limited by GB. Logic has some pretty good sounds, but I need the real deal, you know? | |
