| The NiteKatt 12/8 Organ-Guitar Blues by nitekatt2009 | 2 years ago |
| Hi Jaro. Thanks for the listen. The drums are a drag, I know. Unfortunately the 4 tracks were mixed down, otherwise I would try to remove the old and put in the new. Not sure if any software is available that might be able to pull out the drums. But anyway, it was one of the first Yamaha drum machines and now we have all the great stuff that I wish we had then. katt |

![]() Yo Mike. Great cut and production. Should be on the smooth jazz radio charts ASAP, if not already. Fine mix and composition. Put up some more from that CD, I think I heard the album in motion before the mastering when you and RA played it. Very fine smooth jazz. nitekatt |

| This has a very unique progression and pattern. It's almost like a futuristic, original style, country tune. There is a very peaceful element, but enough energy to stay focused. Very fine production and quality performance. Nice. katt |

| A Song For Milo by nitekatt2009 | 2 years ago |
| Hey guys. I just wanted to thank all of you for taking time to listen Milo's song and your support of relating your own experiences of loss of a special friend. You know what it feels like. We still can't really accept or believe he's gone. I even opened a can of tuna, drained it to make salad and Milo would always drink the juice and have a few chunks of tuna. I almost called him to come and get it, but..... I know many of you have felt the same thing and it helps to hear your thoughts and experiences. Anyway, thanks a lot guys/gals/ On a lighter note I had a great piano lesson today from a fine, busy jazz pianist I met playing with a trio in a hotel lounge. I called him up and he lives near us. I haven't taken a lesson in years, so it's more like coaching and showing tips of things I want to learn. Now back to the MacBook and GarageBand and see what I can come up with. Regards, katt |

| Thanks, guys, glad you liked the cut. I play every week in a bar with a jazz duo, trio or quartet. Sometimes we jam on this tune among many others. I'm experimenting with different piano styles, Bill Evans, Bud Powell, Chick Corea, Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, and others are all important influences that have me motivated to keep at it. Playing tonight and tomorrow nite to begin the New Year 2009 HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 TO EVERYONE!! |
