The silence after sound is what gives us the time to understand what we heard.
I am a student at Washington College studying International Relations with a concentration on East Asia and International Security. My favorite genres to produce music in are electronica, jazz and classical, sometimes mixed. I use Garageband and Abelton Live 8.
My Dad is the reason I got into music. My parents don't play any instruments, but my dad loves all types of music and would play jazz every night during dinner out of the home speaker system. So I grew up, for about the first 10 years enjoying the plethora of soundscapes that is jazz. Then he got me an iPod and I started playing trombone. Nothing could stop me from then on.
I learned to play Trombone and at one point played classical percussion. But I jam on whatever instruments I can get my hands on. I've played in a number of jazz groups and have taken some music production courses at college that afforded me the opportunity to preform live music production.
