![]() Very nice! I know how difficult it can be to capture vocals with clarity. You make it seem effortless! More please! paul |

![]() Unexpected. A bit repetitive, but I liked it. More dynamic variations? One way to get more tracks is to export the tracks you're happy with to iTunes. Then import them into a new GB song, where they will appear as a single real instrument track. Then you can add more tracks and repeat if necessary. That way you can have an unlimited number of tracks, but once you've exported and imported, those tracks are carved in stone (except for the volume I guess). p.s. I would'a been the cymbal guy in Jr Hi Band. The one who's arms were falling off by the end! |

![]() I love the application of mathematics into music. This is a nicely done piece! I'm not much of a waltz fan, but I enjoyed none the less. Very clear presentation also, on the web page. |

| Prelude in D minor by paulaldo | 4 years ago |
| This was also done in Finale, before I started using GB. | |
| Alpha by paulaldo | 4 years ago |
| Alpha is the phonetic name for A, so the piece is in the key of A. Any letter can be translated into a pitch. The trick is to find a mapping which sounds acceptable. Throughout the piece, in every voice, either the rhythm, or the pitches, or both, in some form are derived from Alpha. It's not something you'd be able to hear, necessarily. But it is all in there. Thanks for asking. | |
| Ps 117 by paulaldo | 5 years ago |
| We performed this only once, at my home church, several years ago. The text is from the New Revised Standard translation (I think!). It is repeated twice: once as a chant (cello in this version) in the very beginning, then again with the choir; " Praise the Lord, all ye nations! Extol him, all ye peoples! For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! " then the ending is a traditional 'Amen'. Thanks for the kind response! |

| A Gentle Noise by easyesteemer | 5 years ago |
![]() Nice piece! Very soothing! Ends kinda abruptly. Could be posted in Ambient (which should be a genre of it's own), but it would probably just get lost in the HipHop & Dance. Keep 'em coming! |

| Alpha by paulaldo | 5 years ago |
| I'm sure this isn't going to appeal to most listeners ... it's not something you'd want to dance to! The compositions in this group (more to follow) are based on the morse code of the phonetic alphabet. So, every aspect of the composition: the key, the rhythms, the pitches, etc, are derived from, in this case, A-L-P-H-A. Enjoy. | |
