| The Manhole Descent by JackFancy | 2 years ago |
| Hey Jack.. Welcome back.. I was thinking of you anyway cos I just put a few piano doodles up and haven't done that for a while.... I guess all these things come in waves eh..?? Your lyrics are fine as ever and I love the lower tones in your resonnat voice.. I think you need to write 5 000 lines on 'Why I smoke ' though.. Sorry but it's a damn sin to abuse such an instrument.. If somebody cratched your guitar everyday you would not be very happy would you..?? There you go. Told off by Uncle Paul... Good to hear you.. Oh and I've put the download on the piano tracks if you want em I always forget... the harvest one starts off rough but i really like it later.. Cheers... all the best.... p. ;9) |

| thanks for that perpetual dawn.. unfortunately it's only one instrument.. it's one piano take so I can only take the main level up or down or maybe cahnging the EQ would work...? it sounds OK on my system but sound systems are so variable it's good to know how it sounds on others.. I'm not very good at the studio side of things and there is a knack to getting a well balanced eq.. could you be more specific about what sounds too loud at your end.. is it in the mid range...?? cheers.... p. ;9) |

| I was just looking down the list of recent posts and this was next to one of my piano doodles with a very conected picture feed://feeds2.feedburner.com/iCompositionsMusic loving this spacious soundscape delicate but not twee quirky but not for the sake of it... like having a needed rest on a train.. the choas of the world is there and threatening to intrude but mostly it just influences your dream rather than awakens you... ;9) |

| Rain-interrupted by 921 | 3 years ago |
| oh i get it now... rain interupted.. remind me of one of my doodles. i'll upload... the space reminds me of 'gone to earth' by david sylvian which was one of my fav teenage albums and the only thing i could listen to while studying cos it provided atmosphere and rewarded attention but did not demand it or clutter the mind.. |
|

| Wide water by 921 | 3 years ago |
| yes 2 out of two so far. liking it very much.... not a great fan of midi keyboard normally but you use it like a midi keyboard which is it's strength rather than trying to be fake strings as often happens.. like the space here too... feels no pressure.. would like to run lots of these soundscapes into one and other to creat a journey..... i go the the others now..... |

| Elfin dance by Narananda | 3 years ago |
| Hey Narananda Considering you have only been doing music for two years you have developed a very good ear for form and line and harmony. There is a wonderful sixties album by H.P. Lovecraft called the Fearie Symphony. This reminds me of some of that atmosphere. Sweeet enouhg to draw you in but with enough dark undertones to keep you a bit weary.. |
