I come from Italy., my far relatives from my mother’s side were musicians and opera- singers, so I have breathed music since I was a kid.
I always have been attracted by sounds. When I started piano lessons, I was too young and distracted , so immediately did not appreciate what a lucky guy I were…. I did not like to learn the classics, I wanted to play my music. At that time the long-haired - world outside used to sound with guitars , drums, organs and the beat was so exciting!
after having tried different kind of music and instruments , time later I found my real direction.

And I have to say thanks to PEZ too! Listening with him to great Hank Mobley’s album “Work Out” got a kick to me.
The music I prefer is jazz, definitely, but I ‘ve never been so much selective on this. I’m flexible, I like contaminations. Among my Jazz piano idols (Bill, Evans Whynton Kelly, Sonny Clark, Herbie Hancock) there’s Hammond B3 Master. Brian Auger
Think piano is so marvellous, unreachable and irresistible, its sound is full of different features and shades… I am totally captured from its fascination . Jazz is my music, is my basic language: it is so immediate and sometimes even allows you to play “wrong”…
I collected a number of experiences with various kind of groups and bands, all having to do with jazz.
I usually play in live contexts and with as much musicians as I can.
There’s so an incredible number of excellent jazz musicians in my country, I was lucky to play with great artists .This is an incredible way to improve. I also like to create melodies and compose pieces of music.
With my Mac and through iC, I can realize my own projects the way I like , and share them with other musicians .. it is another way to learn and improve!
