| Ha ha, yes, that is the plan... to induce action! I made a video to accompany this as well if you're interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or9O3DW2Tvk I've also made several poker lyrical re-work songs here, to the likes of Johnny Cash, R.E.M., 2 Live Crew, Ozzy, and Motorhead! - http://www.myspace.com/thepokeremmcee Somehow this format has turned into somewhat of a M.O. for me. The players in my regular game keep encouraging me. ![]() -frank |

Well, the song title turned out to be appropriate. It's been a year and I haven't added vocals yet... but I have them, Eidolonia! I need to get it together and pay more attention to my music and this site! Thanks much for the feedback. The bass tone is just the out of the box GB Bass Effect "Punk Bass", without even adding a dB boost. For some reason GB gives a really good volume and clarity boost for that effect. All effects are not created equally. Speaking of which, Duble_W, I'm in agreement that the guitars need to be louder. When I add the vocals I will pop the dB's on the guitar tracks and see if it's better. Oh and for the kick drum, I haven't learned to create my own drum tracks yet so I just sped up one of the out of box loops so it's a little compressed sounding. ![]() |

![]() This is great. Kinda Moby-esque from the Play album. Quite original though. Nice and mellow for chillin' on a Sunday evening. |

![]() Well done! As jdwyer mentioned it's very Satriani-Vai-esque... in a good way! A good driving song with that Van Halen wind-blown feel to the guitar. As for the category, the choices are very limited on this site, so I think metal is fine. If everyone is just going to make songs that match these categories as people are used to on the radio/at Wal-Mart then things will get boring real quick. I'm all for unorthodox sounds/concepts that don't fit nice and neat in a box that everyone has heard before. Keep it coming! |
