in my mind ( or ears) the strongest part of this composition is the vocals. they have a rawness and honesty that is really appealing. nice job. |

yeah, this is cool for sure. bass is cure-like...nice throb. guitar is great and washy. i like the vocals just were they are in the mix. nothing like anaalog drums. i am very happy to have found your music. |

 this is really cool. i have a CD (very rare) - an import from ITaly - called "A tribute to Joy Division" from 1990. it is excellent indeed. the unique thing is that the cover songs are not intended to emulate the original songs, rather they are reinterpreted ... just like your cover of love will tear us apart. i think the weakest part of your version is the drums. i know how hard it is to get a drum track or loop to have that JD feel. you would think it would be easy, since Morris' drumming almost seems drum machine-esque. aside from that, which may or may not really matter since the song is a re-interpretation, i still feel some of the percussion elements sound a little "canned." brilliant work though! |
