| Thanks Vixen! I was thinking about crafting the song so that it eventually builds to a hard driving end, but one of my early listeners said "no" and advised that I should keep the song "short and sweet", so I went with that and the song ended up in its present form. But even still, when I play the song in my imagination, I can hear some distorted electric guitar and some solid drum hits that takes the song to the edge of fury and ends abruptly....Kind of like the way I feel being away from my lady for soo long. My anticipation of finally getting back home and into her arms keeps welling up inside of me until I have to let out a "Wooo!!" I might just have to make another version of this song once I get back home to my lady and NYC. Thanks for the listen! | |

And that he did not think that any of his friends would listen to "this type of music". I asked him what "type" of music. He said "old school". So...uh...I guessed he liked it. My wife said the song sounds like an "After School Special". And my six year old daughter said the song makes her "stomach tickle". I have no idea what to do with my family's comments.... |
