And thanks to everyone else. smiley I completely understood your comments, even though a comment in French is better than a comment in American.

Your voice makes me wet.

Uh. ****. Maybe I shouldn't have said it like that... Let me rephrase...

Your voice makes me wet.

Damnit. I'm sorry. But it's very true.

Amazing.

Simply amazing.

I'm not a big fan of blues, but this song's definitely well put together. Good lyrics, good guitar... just perfect.

I totally ignored the panned left thing... I can hear it now.

You might wanna check the input. If it's not a stereo mic, you have to use a mono input.

I could help you in more detail later. Right now my brain's about shot, so I can't really explain what I'm trying to say.

But yeah. It's still awesome.

Wow, ponk... you went deeper into my song than I even did. smiley

Thanks to everyone who has commented so far.

And Geechi, I really don't think anyone would melt over my voice. I definitely need lessons. smiley

Okay.

Since I leave long comments on pieces I like, you're going to have to read all twelve chapters that I'm about to write for a novel entitled "The Absofreakinglutely Crazy Song That Macdude Has Created That I Decided to Write a Book About".

Ready?

Here we go!

Since I've already listened to the entire song once, I know what it sounds like already. But since this is probably my fourth time in a long string of times that I will listen to it, I'll keep finding new things about this song that I love.

The moment I clicked the little play button up above, I heard Metallica's early riffs come on and I couldn't help but thing that you ripped someone off. I was getting ready to send you an incredibly nasty comment. But then, since we were talking in the chat, I decided to ask you if everything in here was created by you and you only.

I couldn't believe what you told me.

This song... All twelve hundred billion thousand little perfect notes and drum hits of musical magic were created by none other than yourself.

And considering that even though I've been playing guitar for 6 years, your guitar and musical skills outscore mine. Hell. They're stealing my guitar's lunch money. I don't think my guitar even deserves to be played by someone lesser than yourself.

Also, I don't know how to play drums, even with a midi keyboard. So basically, I can't say anything other than YOU ****ING ROCK DUDE!!!!!!!!

Okay. That's out of my system.

Though this does slightly sound like classic 80s rock, it has one thing that most of the 80s songs don't.

It has balls.

Hell, dude. I couldn't even come close to making something as beautiful as this.

By the way, this is the sixth time I've listened to it so far while just writing this book. And trust me. It'll be repeating for a while. I'll have the melody in my head and everyone will be like, "Wow, dude... did you make that melody up?" And I'll be like... "No. God did." And I'll be serious.

Well. Maybe not God.

But God gave you some damn good talent that I KNOW will take you far.

My story's coming to a close.

But I'd like to (again) go over some basic things that I love about this piece.

1. It has balls.
2. Guitar = amazing.
3. Drums = amazing.
4. The 80s atmosphere is captured PERFECTLY. Hell. It sounds like some song by Whitesnake, just minus the lyrics.
4 1/2. Did I mention it sounded exactly like Metallica at the beginning?
5. The ambient effects at the beginning are superb.
6. Even though others say it needs more of a bass line, I disagree. Many big-hair-type songs don't have the deep throat bass that started showing up in the 90s. I think the subtlety of the bass line is superb.
7. It made me wet myself.
8. I can't stop playing it over and over and over.
9. I hate 80s metal. But for some odd reason, this song grabbed my balls and wouldn't let go. And for some odder reason, I liked that it did that.
10. It. Kicks. ***.

The end, my friend.

You're star bound. Nay. Rockstar bound.

And be sure to send me some money when you make it big. I'll still be in my parent's basement writing crappy music for a while.

Ask me what I like about this piece, and I'll tell you that this isn't ordinary electronica/techno. This has depth... the depth that a lot of other electronica pieces on this site lack.

You used some loops at the beginning and throughout the rest of the song that I could recognize, but you did a nice job of making them subtle enough that you might recognize them, but they fit perfectly.

Ask me what I dislike about this piece, and I'll keep my mouth shut.

Very nice work GH.
You're gettin along damn well so far.

Now for a first track, this is amazing.
Very beautiful effects and instruments.
Sound effects felt a little shakey at first but eventually fit in perfectly.

It's almost like telling a story.
And this is exactly how a song should sound.

Very good work. Welcome to iComp.
I'll definitely fave you.
