Retrolust is an electronic smorgasbord of sound; fusing elements of old school synth-pop with industrial, hip-hop and other modern electronic music, then layering it with a tongue-in-cheek lyrics and vocal hooks.
Retrolust formed in 2006 when two separate musicians, Garrett Kai and Trevor Denounce, met on an internet site and became fans of each others music. They decided to collaborate and upon finishing that first track they had discovered a sound, method and purpose that would be the basis for Retrolust. The duo quickly evolved from solo-artists to a song producing machine. They proved be highly motivated individuals, as they managed to write, record, produce and release THREE full length albums in 2007.
There does not seem to be any slowing down for Retrolust in the future. They are already working on another album and continue to promoting themselves onto bigger and better things.
