I live in the city of Bangalore (India).
I am an Audio Engineer by profession. Mostly my work is technical mixed with Creative application of music skills. So it doesn't mean pure music. Audio Post production for films and T.V, Mixing and Mastering of Songs, etc are my interests and field of expertise developed over 5 years.
I find very little time to try my hand in making my own music.
Still, I always leap forward whenever I get a chance.
I am not formally trained in Music so I can not carry the Tag "Musician" along with my name.
Since I understand the basics and technical side of Music Production, I try to make something that pleases me at least.
iCompositions being such a wonderful platform for all the budding tallents, has given me a fair chance to ascertain and rank myself as an eligible aspirant who can be a musician or not.
Till now everything seems to be positive. But i can never take it for granted unless YOU comment on my work.
I am not genre specific when it comes to listening to music, since i am trained not be. I think that's a big plus point. what say?
My Favorites are:
Dream Theatre, Pink Floyd, Dire Straites, The Corrs, The police, The carpenters, Shania Twain, Celiene Dion, Enya, The scorpions, Backstreet boys and many..many others!!!!phew!!!
Indian Music is known world over for its ingenuity and styles. Perhaps one would find it very difficult to categorize any Indian commercial song to a particular genre. That's why we have come up with a new genre called "FILMY".
Some of my works that belong to this genre are:
"VASEEGARA", "Sierra", "Sangathi" and Manmohini.
