![]() f-n great cover! one comment, i love the fade out and i'd like it as a bridge in the middle of the song, sans vocals. helps us take a breath and then enjoy the chorus again, since it's repetitive. keep 'em coming ![]() |

pretty cool stuff. personally i would have done the transitions different. the first would have a longer come down to the second of silence. then straight into pounding drums with the synths/loops. the second transition not being an actual cut, but a mix of both to the fade out. anyway, my two cents... keep 'em coming ![]() |

i second yosl's comments and give it a decent start... you gotta have a beat. unless you were going for an atmospheric vibe, but then you'd still need to "fill" the soundscape more... keep it going ![]() |

![]() very nice track! absolutely great job, especially for a very difficult song to cover. if anything, in keeping "the music simple", i think you cut yourself a lil short on the beat and in my opinion could use a lil more crispness, but at the same aural level... damn good song though. please keep 'em coming! |

![]() is it [bleepin] hot in here or is it just me?! awesome track ghost! there were a couple spots that technically could be a lil smoother imo... then again i'm blasting it with headphones and so i hear every little nuance... keep 'em coming! |

![]() love it!!!! thank you my friend! this was on repeat just loud enough to flow over the candles and the sweet smell of red wine, for my huny and me... and since i'm a wee bit toasty and feeling good... in a poetic way, i describe your creation as a beating wind that drifts over three dimensions of the dark storm's thunder, with echoes of lightning, rain dripping from the forest's canopy, and reverberations flowing through the trees of the forest. thank you and good night ![]() |

![]() very nice! very well put together, but i think it could use some detail work to make it absolutely perfect. i happen to like the repetitiveness, though adding something to the second half will give it a little more energy to really drive it home. also, your fade out should start at the breakdown, a lil bit after the beat stops. very nice, keep 'em coming! |

![]() nice one ghost! as usual i have two cents to add i'm with elder on the bass drum, though i like it, it does pull you out of the song a lil bit. is there a way to blend it a bit more into the song? otherwise very nice! also, i love the bridge with the piano and that bass line is fantastic. |

| Aimless...the Boy Goes Left! by LWinston | 6 years ago |
![]() keep 'em coming cause it's working even though you say this is not something natural for you. anyway, couple of details that could really make this perfect in my eyes... the beat/drums are good, but could be perfect. a little tightening up and this is super picky, but i hear it, your build snare doesn't match the snare of the beat. other than that, i wouldn't mind hearing just a little reverb/echo, etc. on the entire track to give it a lil "space". keep up the good work! |

thank you very much!!!!! ghost, it's a pleasure as always winston, these songs are the hardest to make and they drive me crazy too. one step too many and the whole thing goes to hell. lol, i guess it comes to patience, but when it works it's like being in the zone. checking out some of your stuff and liking what i hear! ok, im had a few cocktails so i will take my time and really check out your stuff tomorrow. |

thanks ian, you guys are too nice to me!!! i wanna do a few things to tighten it up a lil more, like adding a audience noise from a blues club to give it a lil more of a live feeling, adding the audience singing along maybe, etc., but that's another day. thanks again ![]() |

![]() very nice composition. great feel of open space, like driving through the desert with top down on a nice cool night. only thing is i wish was it was longer! almost feels like half a song if that makes sense, as you have such a nice build up towards the end, but then stop. just my 2 cents =) |
|
| Priest by royal72 | 7 years ago |
thanks for the kind words and glad it worked at creeping you out i had it blasting on the car ride home with the sub turned up and there were a few spots where the sound assault on my ears made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. musically speaking its not my best, but theres something very evil about it, besides obviously the lyrics. so thanks for listening and stay tuned for more. |

| this is pretty much all garageband. i do use peak a lil bit to tweak sounds, modify/clip loops, or record other bits that i find randomly... i love the bass in this! play it in the car all the time and my subs definitely get a good work out. | |

![]() great composition! really love the drama of it... since i'm not really a music critic and just play one on tv here are my 2 cents on what i feel could work better. chop off the first 50 seconds. have your piano come in a little softer and grow with the strings. at 2:00 i wish the original piano went bye-bye, because i hear it in the background hanging on and taking away from everything else going on. especially around 2:50, besides you reprise the piano around 3:36 perfectly to bring everything back together, slowly building to the finale. the fast piano that is part of the fade out should be much, much quieter giving us the fade out of our intro piano. also in the fade out take out the sudden drums at 5:08 (i wonder why they are there). finally chop the fade out to about 20 seconds. overall a great song and wonderful composition! for some reason i'm thinking a march from a soundtrack like backdraft or something, very dramatic! keep up the great work and take a lil more time refining the production =) |

![]() great concept!!!! can i have the sound bytes of your daughter to mess around with in a remix, please?! she sounds absolutely adorable and is just the perfect sound to go against some happy hardcore at like 140-180 beats. starting out sweet and a normal voice like you have and then tweaking it towards the end of the song, in a build up, to sound very distorted and evil at the end. anyway that's what i hear. good stuff! |
|
| loopin' by pooey | 7 years ago |
![]() i want more distortion on the voice please!!!!!!! great concept, but give me more! i want a remix that is more musical. like you said in your posts to me, this is where you need subtle little things to pull it all together. great lyrics that really sum up what we all do with this amazing program called garageband. |

![]() you came and checked out my songs thank you very much and i'm glad you did, because i believe i have found a creative spirit of my own heart and some great talent =) this is another great song. if anything i think it lacks some subtlety in the keyboard department. i wish it had it had an extra keyboard that ties the beat/bass to the "whine" of the keyboard and i would pull it all together! great song though, think you need to play with this one some more and you are there! ps. another great song that is going on my ipod =) |

| Agent Orange by pooey | 7 years ago |
![]() good [bleepin] song!!!! damn the only thing i thinks it's missing is a vocal, like the screaming of rage against the machine, like "[bleep] you, i won't do what you told me", to take this to the next level! love it! keep up the good work and figure out a way to do some singing for this song, please. ps. this is definitely going on my ipod =) |

| Spun by royal72 | 7 years ago |
| yeah three is different, because as i mentioned in the other post, this was actually the first song created and i went back to make the others from the feelings i had from the first... thanks again for your comments =) personally i think three was my best effort as far as arangement and composition so far. it's definitely the most complex. i think this one has more of a start-n-stop feel was because of the film spun. if you haven't seen it, it's all about following a few people around as their lives revolve around snorting, smoking, and shooting crystal. hence the start and stop of when they're are high and low. anyway thanks again for the comments and checking out my songs =) | |
| Moonlight by royal72 | 7 years ago |
| thanks agian for your nice and thoughtfull comments! you're right about this one losing a lil of what the first one built. i guess i kinda ran out of steam towards the end. this was actually the third song created in the "trilogy". i started with spun and then went back to create the build up to what i felt when creating spun. i will no doubt go back to this one as i have so many songs and refine it even more. | |
| Twilight by royal72 | 7 years ago |
| thanks for the nice comments =) one thing i really wanted to incorporate in all three tracks, but coudln't get anything that really stuck are some voices, be it singing our poetic words. so keep your eye for the remixes in the future. | |
| The Prussians by zefif | 7 years ago |
![]() loved the concept and production. the part that falls short for me and this is something that happens to me often when making electronic songs, things just seem to fall flat as the song goes on. the second part/transition (:06-:31 sec) is my favorite part and has the most potential while building you up to a really hard beat and heavy bass line, which too me would have sold it. i'm not that excited with the beat, but i also like 1:40-1:57 as a darn good bridge. lastly, though there are some good pieces, i'm not sure all the overlapping loops in the rest of the song fit that well together. like i said damn good start, but needs some refinement using the best part... and remember of course that i am not a professional critic, i just play one on tv =) |

![]() very nice composition pretty song and very nicely chill. like the lyrics and if anything i want the chorus to stand out more, perhas a female backup would help it pop... just a lil something to give it some oomph. |
