![]() Hey, Robert. I needed another lesson in soul from you. Here it is! Thanks for sharing. You taught me how to barely breath when singing softly -- just letting the body and soul's residual pnuema make the gentle resonance. I tried it on a kneeler in a church pew and it worked. When it comes to shouting it out, you are among the best. You cry out without being abrasive. Keep going. I got a chuckle from the Google ads at your music portal: Ads by Google: RC Models - RC Cars Nitro - RC Plane - RC Truck |

![]() Simply excellent. This is powerful. Even though it is a sleeping song, it kept me awake! Can you post a translation of the words? |

![]() Robert: Good to hear you exude again. It's been awhile since I have been here. Sorry to hear about your brother. I would like to hear your voice drier with less doubling or chorus effect -- but that is based on one listen on diminutive iPhone speakers. I'll never forget the musings, collaborations and smackdowns at MJs. |

![]() I'm happy, too, with this collaboration. I may revisit the lyrics and develop a stronger chorus, prompted by a Nashville writer. Thank you all. |

| Hittin' The Road by Dadai | 3 years ago |
![]() It was excellent fun making this virtual band song. Better than a slice across the left temple with a band saw, or better than acidic comments in an out-of-control debate. Sometimes, you just gotta hit the road when the itch gotta be scratched and your freethinking takes you to distant pubs. |

| Yes, honest and present. Thanks for sharing this. Good guitar work. How does one learn how to play like that? | |
| Late Night Sax by Dadai | 3 years ago |
![]() Oh, you know that I love that silken sax sound. There is some "air" in this recording which gives it an urban atmosphere ("I have left the dance hall and am heading for the tracks") ... Very good. |

| The Blue Angel by dirigent | 3 years ago |
![]() Andreas! This is superb, absolutely natural and in the moment. You have solved some of the compression/editing artifacts that were present in your earlier multi-track recordings. Did you change hardware or software to achieve this? Gimme a hint! A wonderful melodic thread with perfect Barbershop-styled harmonies. Talk about vocal execution! Excellent diction and perfect pitch. Relaxed exudations, even in the higher register. |

| HFH Mvmt 3: Knock Upon Your Door by rschletty | 3 years ago |
| Thank you so much, Andreas. David and I are pleased that you like this movement. The line "grace and truth in the eyes of the mute" came from meeting a severely handicapped young woman earlier in the day, at the funeral of the daughter of a family friend. Though she could not speak, her eyes revealed the light of God's grace and uncomplicated truths. | |

| Trampolines n' Tambourines by rcandrews | 4 years ago |
| Thanks again for all your comments. Next time I mix for Rob, I'll lower the reverb. I did the best I could with what I got from Rob and Bill. Bill's git track was already way too wet. Is there a deverb plug-in available for LE7? LOL. | |

![]() Well, it really gets cranking at about 3/5 mark...after the first faux fade. I like Euro Trance, esp. with voice. Are you thinking about adding voice? Stomps well in sections. Interesting change-ups in texture and beat. An organic foundry. Full range of emotion. |

| Midnight Coffee (with lyrics) by Luca | 5 years ago |

| Aliens Are Dancing on the Milky Way (the music video) by Joanna | 6 years ago |
![]() Joanna: This is very catchy and well done for your intended viewers. I can also imagine this being performed in an adult night club with a person in an alien costume playing at the piano....or some such nonsense. You have such a warm and engaging voice. One might call it "authentic". I regret not being able to hear a high fidelity soundtrack of this. The video compression makes it sound a bit hollow. |

| Like As The Waves by Dadai | 6 years ago |
| And I appreciate it as well, Dave! Thanks for commenting. I think we're getting better with age...like fine wine. I started my pop music career at age 50, so I have plenty of ambition and ideas. Jack Miller's lyricism has been instrumental in my path toward making cool songs. We are thoroughly enjoying our "Postludes Trio" collaborations. | |
| Going to the Club - fortified by rschletty | 6 years ago |
| Oops, I didn't mean to select "only loops". Thanks for pointing that out. With live guitar additions by David Gomez from Spain (recorded on a Yamaha 16 multitrack), this is more than half non-loops. I penciled in my own MIDI stuff in Logic Express, getting rid of most of the original stock Apple TUMi loops. Plus, my voice is not loopy at all. | |

![]() Sil-VER and Mystified...what a combo. Could be a soundtrack for a new international love story-thriller flick. |

| I feel alive by lilichi | 6 years ago |
![]() Maybe if the uplifting soundtrack and depressed monotone vox sounded like they were in the same soundspace, I could start to get a better integration of the irony intended. The music is much more ambient than the dry vox. The lyrics aren't too bad. Some of the lines might be rhyming for rhyming's sake, but other lines are gems. You could have the lead voice progress from quiet despondency to raged shouting, or vice versa...something to engage and sustain the listener. I know, this is just a quick fun thing. But it could be much better with a few tweaks. Like maybe add some chorused voices that provide a "bridge" from the suicidal lead singer to the party band next door. The chorus could be singing a "feel alive...want to die" riff that echoes the lead. As such, maybe this is OK after all. It's as if the person is sitting on the toilet in a dance hall bathroom, momentarily disengaged from the world, squeezing out her last bit of sentiment while the band plays on. |
