| Cheers, this is good feedback & helps me. I'm not a proffessional musician (you don't say), I just do this for fun, I'm a writer at heart. My fave bit is in the middle where the drums sample "SnappySnare" comes in and then I've got it so's it almost sounds as though the drums are just being hit randomly. My first group of songs I put together as an album and called it "One Man Went To Mars" (1MW2M), this Space Choir I'd have on my next group and I plan on calling the album "Music for the bi-polar generation".....or somthing along those lines. After watching a documentary with Stephen Fry who suffers with Bi-Polar (Not all people believe they "suffer", merely have Bi-Polar (aka manic depression). It just struck me that we can often treat people with illness or disease in an unfortunate way and truly I think we've (society) got the cart before the horse & rather than sounding surprised "Oh he's mad", I'd say that with the complexity of the human brain it's a surprise that any of us turn out sane..... & I just like to put those thoughts to music..... Overall, the comments made here by you the listeners; I can see what you're saying and I might redo and try to improve it. |

| It's my work & I'm very happy with it I know the distortion because it is toooo loud is there, but yes I did want it in there. I've allways had an ear for the bad taste side of music, imagine, "I'm in the mood for love" it's a fantastic song, but i cringe when I hear it. The distortion bit on my tune DNSpace certainly makes me cringe, but what contrast when the distortion ends and you hear the triumphantly upbeat next bit. The pay off is worth it for me. I got the sample from "Pro dj" a program that came free with my computer, I'll do a little mix with the sample and see what people think. I'll probably get the new tune uploaded next Monday. |
